Diamine Fountain Pen Ink 30ml -Writer's Blood

Great ink, always flows nicely, not too wet, not to dry, and cleans out easily when changing colors. Diamine is my go to brand now.

Smooth and flowing ink with a great burgundy color. Leans a bit to the brown side relative to oxblood.

Beautiful color, so dark a red, it is almost black. The ink flows freely, dries on paper quickly.

I bought this ink hoping for a realistic "blood red" color (for a Halloween display). A name like "writer's blood" made me think I had it, and the price was excitingly good for how much ink you were getting. Though the ink color does look nice and I will continue using it elsewhere, it's more of a purple/maroon than blood red (see attached image). I have found that as far as fountain pen ink goes, this one does stick around once it dries and doesn't smear badly. If you're looking for unique colors that will last a long time on the page, this is good ink to go for. Just don't expect the authentic "blood red" color if that's why you're looking into this one.

Flows beautifully, doesn't bleed much on good paper, had a good water test, gorgeous color, works well in all of my fountain pens and with my quills as well.

It legitimately looks like blood, just smoother. Flows well, even from my more stubborn pen. Beautiful gradient. Just be careful not to put your pen in too far when you fill it as the bottle was fuller than I expected. As someone else noted, I could see an issue with thicker fountain pens as the opening is quite small.

Really beautiful color. Looks Magenta if you dilute it. Looks Dried Blood color if not diluted. Fine quality like Waterman Ink. New favorite color.

Such a dark red that it almost appears black or brown, but it interacts with light and when smeared lightly/shaded it’s a gorgeous deep red. It writes beautifully (using a TWISBI Eco M nib), smooth and wet but I’ve had no issues with bleed through. My new favorite ink.

La couleur est splendide. Elle est plus lisible qu'un sépia et moins agressive qu'un rouge type magenta et je trouve que l'on s'en lasse moins qu'un violet.

Aptly named, this ink is rich and looks like the writer is laying down his own life's blood. A great ink with great shading.

La 'sangre del escritor' o writter's Blood es una buena tinta, no de un color intenso como ir tirando al valle inquietante como el dragón Blood o oxblood pero igual un rojo muy agradable, quizás incluso lo llamaría un rojo quemado o champan.

Eine sehr schöne Farbe, die Fließeigenschaften der Tinte sind auch gut (auch für trockene und schmalere Federn geeignet, wobei sie bei nassen und breiten Federn nicht zu nass ist). Je nach Federbreite kann der Farbton variieren.

Es la mejor tinta.
