I misplaced the original lens foot for my EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6l is II USM and having had quite the Google search, could not find a genuine Canon replacement, even via their own website. I wasn't too bothered anyway, as I figured a genuine Canon part would cost about £70 whereas this one cost £20 instead. It irks me that it's black and not the off white to match the lens but the tripod is black so it's no big deal.It fits the lens perfectly, screws tight and feels very secure. The hole for mounting onto the tripod is also perfect (as you would hope), and has the locating lugs that prevent the lens from spinning around the thread. That's pretty much everything I can say about it. If you've lost yours (and I think they must magically teleport away as soon as you get the lens) this is the perfect replacement.

I returned it because it was wobbling once fitted to a tripod. I maxxed out the tightness ring and it was still slightly loose.

This replacement stand for Canon EF 100-400mm IS ii was made for this lens collar. No issues whatsoever screwing it into the mount ring. Much more solid than the one that came with the lens. In addition, it is much easier to carry than the one that came with the lens as it has finger grooves machined into the foot side facing the lens. Well worth the minimum price-point.

I receive it very late but the product is very good quality. The only problem was the arriving time but if you wait you get what you need.

なぜか取り外せなくなりました。そのうち、純正のリング側にある台座が緩んでしまいガタツキが出てしまいました。結局三脚座を交換（分解作業を伴うため2万円以上の経費が発生）する羽目になりました。ハードな使用には耐えられないのかもしれません。

I was hoping this would work as a replacement for the Canon collar foot, but it doesn't screw in all the way. There's a spring in the turning mechanism that seems to prevent it from locking down completely. After four tries I gave up and am returning it.
