A godsend
I have a downpipe on my '21 Elantra N-line and I decided to get the X-force catback exhaust for my car. While the 3" system sounds better with a deeper tone, the insane amount of rasp and noise I got with the valve open made me keep the valve closed. It was awful. Sounded like I was letting firecrackers go off behind me.Ordered this knowing how effective they are. After getting it welded in, It was time to test it. FINALLY!! it sounds so much better and it got rid of 80% of the rasp and quilted down aswell. Vibrant has never let me down!

Get this for your GTI!
I have a 2018 VW GTI, got this after looking around on some forums. I have a borla 3in Catback exhaust and recently did a CTS catted down pipe on my car. Noise was to loud, droned, and didn’t like the tone of my exhaust. Got this installed at an exhaust shop right before the muffler on my Catback. Sounds so much better, barely any drone now and the tone is way less raspy. If you have a similar set up to what I’m running, please get this! It solved my issues perfectly!

Fantastic high flow resonator that really rounded out my exhaust note too!
I had a local exhaust shop weld in a generic resonator a few months back to help control the noise on my Mk7 GTI. I was running the Borla S Type Catback paired with a CTS catted downpipe. Man, that was LOUD. The generic resonator did its job, but in a very unrefined way. Drone in low RPMs was bad and man, the back-pressure was a bit off and resulted in some mild engine knock. Dropped in the Vibrant 17950 last week and it is very noticeably better. The note is improved, no more ridiculous drone at low RPM, gets loud (and more crisp!) when you get on the throttle (which is what I wanted), and no more knock! The high flow did the trick and I also notice a few more pops and bangs in sport mode. Quality of the product was also astounding for the price, the other reviews did not lie.3 stars for noise level and noise cancelation, as it is still noticeably loud, just much more refined. 5 stars for quality.

Questionable shipping
Great product although I have no idea how it survived shipping. The product box was the shipping box. NO tape was applied to prevent the box from opening. When the package arrived it was already open. Not sure how the resonator did not roll out during shipping and get lost. Guess I was lucky. Attached photo is how it was delivered

Awesome Sound Dampening and Performance
These are absorption style resonators, so they act more like mufflers, lowering the volume of exhaust noise. They also increase exhaust flow much better than straight piping could. I had these installed on my hellcat, which was straight piped, raspy, and had an annoying drone at highway speeds. A pair of these got my car back to legal range, it still sounds like a hellcat is supposed to, but louder than stock and no more annoying sounds. I lost about 12 decibels on cold start, and 5 to 8 at idle compared to the straight piping, but the car is driving smoother now as the resonators give the car better, faster flow. You probably won't notice any performance increase, unless you've got a crazy supercar, but these definitely sound good and do what they're supposed to.

Fixed droning on a 3" exhaust
I have a Mk1 Audi TT with a 3" turbo back exhaust and it sounded like you were inside an airplane on the highway. Drone was crazy from 2500-3500 RPMs to the point that you couldn't have a normal conversation. This almost completely fixed it and has probably saved my hearing. Super impressed with it.

Perfect
After installing a downpipe on my GTI with a muffler and res delete it was absurdly loud, vibrated the entire car, no fun to drive. Installed the smaller vibrant res and it at least made it drivable but still irritating. This big body resonator brought it down to a reasonable drivable level. I dare say this would even sound good with a catless downpipe. If you plan on cutting out the drone, don't bother with the small can looking resonator, just get this one.
