These pencils are excellent for everyday note-taking and editing. The hexagonal shape makes them comfortable to hold for long writing sessions, and they don’t slip in the hand the way round pencils sometimes do. The graphite is smooth and dark enough to be clear on the page, but not so soft that it smudges heavily. They sharpen cleanly and hold a point well, which makes them reliable for editing work where precision matters. Simple, well-made, and dependable—exactly what I want in a pencil I use daily.

Love these and their lay down . Only problem is y can't they have this pencil as color line? . It has been a joy to use these for drawing and even coloring tho limited in that area. They are very creamy smd smooth and have surprisingly strong leads

Being a snob I'd love to love my Kitaboshi Prussian / Vermillion pencils, alas the Mitsubishi 772 is the benchmark when it comes to shade and depth of colour. They are on the soft side, meaning point retention is not its forte but that's a trade off for the smooth, creamy lines and deep colours. The blue is a tad too dark and less saturated than some prefer but it sure is the closest to Prussian blue, almost like a cyanotype. A must-have on your desk.
