Cambridge English Proficiency 2 Student's Book with Answers with Audio: Authentic Examination Papers from Cambridge English Language Assessment (CPE Practice Tests)

It helped me a lot to improve my English skills. I recommend it, particularly if you wish to take any (C1, C2) proficiency exam.

It's an amazing book for those who wants to certificate your knowledge of English at your highest level. It's self-learning construction and distribution of the different tests, makes it an incredible book for progress in your level of English.

I liked the presentation and the samples to simulate a real test. I just think the price is too high for the amount of exercises on the book.

I wish it were better explained where we can find the exercises to practice the listening section of the test.

A shame that Cambridge does not issue anymore CPE practice books every year. Therefore, my advice would be to use it if you are reasonable sure that you have already reached the CPE level. Otherwise, if you want to prepare for the CPE exam in earnest, you might have difficulties finding some fresh material. Secondly, Cambridge still does not provide reasons why the answers are right or wrong. So, a bit of research is required.

I bought this student’s book additionally to the Proficiency 1 Masterclass and found it helpful as an extra resource for my studies for the Proficiency Exam. Nothing new as such but with various new exercises. Shame there is no CD included.

It's good for practicing, but there is no CD included and there is no possibility to download the conversations on the internet. You need someone to read the script to you. Still good, I almost filled in everything now and hope I pass the exam. Quite expensive, also because there is no audio included, but the one with the CD is so much more expensive!

This book is as useful as the first one. Four exams, speaking material and audio material. The only drawback I found with it is that the listening material is not physical, it requires registration in a specific Cambridge website. After doing so, you will enter your personal key (it is in the book cover) and after 15-20 minutes the audio content will appear, so do not panic!!!

The book is brilliant. The problem is that it doesn't include the audio material. I've contacted Cambridge to check what to do about it. Awaiting response. Afraid I will have to purchase the CDs separately...
