Educational Baby Mat

First, it came on time, is a great Large mat that we were able to put down in the living room. The living room is my son's play area so we have it blocked off just for him. This is where we spend most of our time. My son loves this mat and he just rolls around everywhere. He's not quite mobile yet, so this is perfect. I also like that I can just told it up, store it easily, or move it wherever I want. Even outside. The ONLY flaw I found so far is one of the numbers is spelled wrong. 30 is spelled "thrirty" on this mat and it's something I can't unsee. Lol. But overall, we love this mat. I'm still giving it 5 stars despite the misspelled thirty.

I liked that it is huge. My baby is four months and doesn't roll over yet but I'm sure she will have plenty of room to roll around before running out of mat. Its a little thin and not squishy. I tloke it better than the puzzle kind. It is easy to wipe clean and store.

We have hardwood floors. This was a perfect solution for our toddler from age 0 to about a year and a half. I can recall a couple times when he started to explore, he fell hard off the couch and thankfully whaled his head an an inch of padded material. I have no doubt this mat saved his life a few times. When he started learning words, he would say them if we pointed at the lettters and animals on the pad. We gave it away after about 1.5 years and now we have a newborn again. We bought this same mat once more for the living room during our newborns playtime. Not worth taking stars away but I was hoping it had the road on the reverse side so he can use his cars when he's a bit older. This is extremely durable, easy to clean, easy to fold, very safe and would make the best gift to anyone with a 0-2 YO.

I love this play mat-it is really soft and would be perfect for a baby. I bought it for my new puppy, as I’m paranoid about the puppy doing its business on my floors. So I bout this and it is perfect! It’s very large and comfortable for me to sit/kneel on when playing with my puppy. I can even sit with my laptop and work while my puppy plays around without have to worry about an accident on my floors. It is easy to clean, my puppy has had accidents on it several times and it wipes up easily and doesn’t retain any foul odors. The only con is that it is easily ripped open. My puppy has chewed some holes in it already so be aware of that. I just watch her and redirect her and provide lots of chew toys she hasn’t chewed it in a while but the damage is already done. Even with the few chew marks, it still works well and does the job of protecting my floors. One caveat is that since it folds up and has creases, the pee could slide out and down the crease and into the floor depending on where she pees and how much. This hasn’t happened yet, but just be aware of that. Other than that, we are very happy with this play mat!! I also used a yoga mat to accommodate a slightly larger area.

I looked through what feels like ALL the playmate on Amazon and am so happy I found this one! The print is super cute, and it’s actually quite large. I fold it in half for my 4 month old right now, but it’s nice that she’ll be able to roll around the whole thing eventually.

This is such a fantastic play mat! I would have loved this when the kids were babies and just learning to roll over and crawl (and if I was sitting next to them this would have been soft for me, too!). It’s so squishy and the texture of the imprinted letters and numbers would have been a nice sensory activity. Having letters and pictures on one side and a racing track on the other provides options for older kids as well as just cushion. my kids are a bit older (2 and 5 now), but they love it. My husband and I have even used it for workouts (it gets a little squeaky, like balloon squeaky if doing yoga), but it served its purpose of protecting our joints on the hard floor. Will be great outside as a picnic barrier, too. Love that it comes in a simple carrying bag, too. Really like this product and would highly recommend.

We bought this to add a little extra padding under a big play pen on hard floor. It’s easy to fold up and very big but it’s gets worn down very quick. We ended up using it to paint on so we wouldn’t get paint anywhere and eventually threw it away

We love this mat! My 21-month-old toddler has a tendency to fall asleep on the floor, even after we try to get her in bed she just prefers the floor who knows why. Toddlers right? But I don't have a pad underneath my carpet so the floor is rather hard still. She will sleep on a pillow on the floor but tossed and turn because the floor is uncomfortable despite getting upset if I put her in her bed. And my 6-month-old son is learning to crawl and loves being on the floor but again my floor is too hard. He loves my mother's cushioned carpet but doesn't like my hard carpet. I've had the mat out for a couple of hours today and both of them love it! My daughter took a nap on it and slept for 2 hours, and my son has been crawling all over it with no complaints! We also have a midsize dog who is manage to get some hair on it already but it's swept off really easily. Both of them love the textures on it and it fits perfectly in my small apartments living room. I was excited to see this online when I made the purchase especially because it was about a third the price of an under carpet mat. Would definitely recommend!
