Q: Does these collars fit bigger dogs?

The biggest dog I ever had was a German Shepard and it fit her just fine. I now have Jack Russell Terriers and it was necessary to cut a large portion of the collar off in order to fit her.

Thank you for your inquiry. The ingredients are: Pheromone 0.02%, Inert Ingredients 99.98%; Total: 100%. The powder that flakes off the collars when it is being stretched and applied is a normal occurrence and is how the collar operates. The pheromones are impregnated into the collar itself for a sustained release and the collar will still work for your pet. The collar flaking will not make the collar less effective.

Q: How do you put it on dog

Measure your dog's neck, and then measure how much of the collar you'll need. Cut the collar (it's made of rubber) to the size you need and leave a few extra inches on to be able to loop through the plastic buckle. I'm pretty sure it came with specific directions inside.

Q: has anyone used the cutoff piece into an extra collar? What are your tips to reuse the extra piece?

I have a smaller dog, so the cutoff piece is about 8 inches or so. I weave it through her kennel door. It has a wire front and the cutoff piece weaves through it very easily. That way she has the extra scent while she is in her kennel.

For growing puppies, regularly adjust the fit of the collar to make sure it’s not too tight. For all dogs, monitor daily to ensure proper fit. Using good hygiene practice, wash hands with soap and water after placing collar on dog.
