I have the 14in size over my 15in trailer tire per the sizing chart and am so far very happy. My spare is mounted on the side of my trailer wall and catches full wind but with over a thousand miles of wind and rain at 80mph it's still there.

After reading the reviews, I was expecting a very inferior cover. Pleasantly surprised, great fit and looks pretty good. The SMALL SIZE (14") was installed on a 205/75 x15 Goodyear Wrangler spare tire, 98% snug, can't ask for a better fit! The pebble-texture cloth-lined vinyl is actually pretty sturdy. Some tips for the frustrated DIY "installers" out there... spread and lay cover out in the sun if temp is above 65 degrees, otherwise place it inside home on floor where it has a chance to soften up and flex easier. Give it a good 30 minutes. Don't force the cover on, go easy, small section at a time. An extra pair of hands might simplify the process. Too much muscle and you'll be griping about this cover ripping at the seams....like several others have already done!At $13 you won't find anything better than this cover... buy it, be patient and enjoy the bargain!

I purchased the 16" cover for my 15" trailer spare tire. I found it easier to cover the the tire if I designate the split opening as the bottom and begin covering with the other side as top and working my way down.Update after 3,000 miles - the 16" cover is too large for my spare tire, P225/75R15, on account of the material stretching after being installed. The air flow of my setup pulled the cover up, and would have been lost if I hadn't put the security cable through the loop.Still 5 star product and it was my error purchasing the wrong size. Referencing to the one I purchased, the bugs and dirt washed off easily.Update July 2021: the 15" remains properly fitted on the tire after many months. I am noticing the material starting to appear dry, from daily sun exposure, so I will need to apply a treatment, such as Armor-all for leather.Update December 2021: I'm back for a replacement cover after it was damaged due to high winds blowing a panel against my trailer. The cover protected the tire sidewall from serious damage. The white in the photo is from the paint on the panel, and the tire is NOT damaged.Additional comment, since I'm ordering a replacement cover I decided to pull on the fabric of the damaged section to provide insight. When I pulled on the fabric, the damaged section didn't expand by tearing or ripping, it only stretched a little. Also, in my July 2021 update I mentioned the material was looking dry, but I never got around to applying a protectant, but the cover still looks okay 6 months later.Still a 5 star product!!!!!

I have a roof rack mounted spare tire on my Subaru outback. I bought this cover to keep the tire from rotting & drying in the Arizona Sun. I installed the cover on Monday as I began a road trip. By Tuesday, roughly 750 miles later, the cover had already disintegrated and shred to pieces. There was no rain, just perfect weather on my trip. This product is a joke. Spend the extra $50 for a better quality one.
