Good and big I like it

It was exactly what I expected. I had already ordered another set with triple-weighted 3.5" pieces, only to find out it was JUST the pieces, so this purchase was just to complete the set I thought I was getting the first time. For those buying it as your only set, be aware that the pieces in this set are not triple-weighted, probably just single weighted, and just a smidge shorter than the chess federation standard I originally bought. But they look and feel just fine without the heavier set to compare them to. Design:The board is also a thicker, heavier neoprene (think wetsuit material) that I think will lay flatter than the typical roll-up board. Comes with carrying bag and checker pieces.

This is the perfect portable set to use at chess tournaments. The bag and set are a nice quality, the color is bright, the mat thickness allows it to be rolled up easily. Great value for the money we spent. After a few months of use at chess tournaments, we have not had any problems with the mat peeling.

This board and case are pretty nice from what I can tell so far, and that is a big plus along with the price point. I do wish the pieces were weighted heavier, but that is a small point as they are a nice size and feel good in the hand. The bigger point however is that i was sent 2 sets of black pieces instead of 1 white and 1 black.Will report back if the seller fixes this. The main problem is any other white set I might use would have a different weight or finish and annoy me until I find the matching half of this set.

Great for kids /travel

Beautiful chess set. Feels like you’re playing with the best. My 11 year old nephew wanted this set. When it arrived we all fell in love with it.Aside for its great presentation, it’s also easy to use. You roll up the chess board, pack it in the bag, along with the chess pieces and there you go! Unpack and you’re ready to play. Fun, good quality, great value for your money, easy to use. Can’t beat that!
