The cream is water based, which is a lot better than all those Vaseline based greasy butt creams that do nothing! The anesthetic effect is inmediate, BUT it lasts about 30 minutes. Another thing is that you cannot beat the price of this Nikzon cream... It is good for the itching and weird sensations you might get. Because it also has a vasoconstrictor, this cream MIGHT help you also heal the problem (which is what I am interested in, as long as, your case is mild or just starting.) BUT IT DEPENDS ON TOO MANY FACTORS! In my case, this is just an anesthetic. I have been operated of Hemorrhoids twice in my life. Having the problem again at 60 was a big surprise! HOWEVER, I BELIEVE that my hemos are also a problem that is being caused by my two herniated disks L4 and L5, which almost ALL PEOPLE after the age of 50 also have. And all the burning, tickling and weird sensations that pressure on the nerves cause get together, if you are susceptible, to also irritate your hemos... You need to MAKE SURE that there is enough fiber (not too much and not too little) in your diet. And that YOU DON'T SIT FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. It is my personal belief that this UNNATURAL way of life that we live in this "MODERN AND CIVILIZED" world is the cause of a miriad of conditions and diseases... AND IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE...
