Kibosh Emergency Pipe Repair Clamp New Brand (15mm)

Had a leak on a copper water pipe at the stables where I shoot, managed to isolate the water and sent for this clamp, came the next day and fitted perfectly, a tight squeeze ensured an instant seal, deisolated the water and no leak, worked perfectly and will keep as an emergency when the plumber replaces the original pipework, definitely a life saver in an emergency, very impressed.

Works perfect. Used on outside tap that had burst after winter frost. Easy to install and worked no problem. Highly recommend

I have used this a few times both on slow drip pipes and one that had a great and was leaking fast and it has completely stopped the leak until the pipe could be repaired. Very good to have in an emergency as when you are inspecting old pipes or repairing something that has concealed pipes you never know when you might accidently damage them. This has proved very useful to me.

this is like a magic little thing! we had a leak and realised it was one of the central heating pipes under the floor board, couldnt get anyone out for a few days and a friend had recommended me to grab one of these to stop the leak for the time being and it worked like a charm! fast delivery as usual and easy instructions on the packaging. get it in place and secure the clamp then MAGIC! no water coming out of it anymore, it was a great temporary fix until it got properly fixed. pipes has now been fixed and the clamp is reusable for another future leaks, fingers cross there isnt but if there is we know we have this little guy to help

I put a nail through the pipe when fitting the skirting board. I tried 2 different types of ‘repair tape’ but the pressure was too much so the tape lasted for no more than 2 seconds. I put this on and it worked like a charm!! I had it in place for 3 days whilst waiting for a plumber. I was able to put the hot water and heating on with no issues at all. The plumber came today and all is fixed but this is now an essential item in my tool kit ready and waiting for my next DIY disaster!

I needed the clamp to hold a small cut in a heating pipe while I waited a couple of days for a plumber to complete a full repair. The damages pipe was in a tight space between the boiler and the inside wall of the cupboard, but with a little perseverance and a strong grip it closed tight. One thing to consider is the length of the clamp. If it is to be used between two joints which are close together it may be too long to form a full seal. Having applied the clamp I refilled the system and bled the radiators, observing a few slow drips from the clamp. The heating system is at 1.5 bar pressure, but once I'd applied the clamp I was able to restart and use the heating fully for a couple of days.

Had a pinhole leak in a 22mm copper pipe that was under pressure. Tried duct tape and gorilla rubber sealant tape but it was still dripping. The kibosh fitted easily and stopped the leak immediately; very impressed. Obviously a short term solution until the plumber can repair but would recommend to have in any toolkit for emergencies.

Emergency repair clamp delivered well packaged. I done a dummy test on a pipe and was able to clamp it on and off(little tricky). Fortunanetly I have not had an emergency yet and hoping it will do its job. Based on my observatins I would recommend this item.

Es ist zwar teurer als die Gebo Rohrschelle, aber dafür funktioniert es auch mit einem Klick. Bei Übergangsstücken hat die konische Gebo Schelle versagt, da Sie das Rohr elyptisch zusammen presst und die Undichte am Passstück / Muffe vergrößert. Diese hier Kammert das Stück und ist dicht.
