It really is good 😊
I have used Method antibacterial spray for a while but was a little fed up with how much plastic they still use, so I looked for an alternative. I must admit that I was a little sceptical about this product, but I thought I'd give it a try. I really was not expecting how good this spray really is. The pod dissolved well, it cleans well and without leaving any smears at all, unlike the Method spray and has a pleasant smell, I will definitely be buying this again👍

Super duper looper hooper!
So easy to use and very effective. I always use kitchen specific cleaners and wanted to try to cut down on waste. These little capsules are ideal, you just drop one into your old bottle, fill with water and shake. The capsule dissolves leaving your spray ready to use. Very effective in the kitchen. I’ve ordered the antibac version to try as well. Don’t think I’ll be going back to buying full bottles anytime soon. Plus sides: helping environment and taking soooooo little space in my cupboard. 😊

Great value for money and better for the environment
Great value for money. Scent is fresh but not at nice as some others on the market. It's doesnt clean glass very well but good as general kitchen wipe down cleaner. It's better for the planet so that is a plus!

Effective disinfectant, easy to mix, smells fresh:)
We have been using this surface cleaner for few years now and I have to say it’s brilliant. It’s very effective against bacteria (including E. coli, Staph, Pseudomonas) as it has gone through lab tests to back this up. It smells lovely and is easy to use, all you need is to drop each concentrate into your own spray bottle (add water, shake) rather than buying new plastic spray bottles. This is great option as we as a family are very eco-conscious and are trying to live sustainably. Another great thing about this item is that it’s free of harmful chemicals which is perfect for us with young children:). Pros! * Strong anti-microbial performance. * Eco friendly packaging/refill format. * Lovely smell. * Versatility. Cons! * Setup needed and user error risk: Because you have to add your own water, drop in the concentrate and shake, there is a bit of extra effort compared to just grabbing a ready-spray. If you skip rinsing an old bottle properly or mis-measure, you might reduce effectiveness. * Fragrance may not suit everyone: While I liked the grapefruit scent, those sensitive to fragrances might prefer a fragrance free option. * Cost benefit depends on reuse: The eco and cost savings hinge on reusing the bottle. If you still keep replacing spray bottles often (for convenience or aesthetic reasons), you may not gain maximum benefit. * Surface compatibility caution: Although it is marketed for “all surfaces”, as with many disinfectants, I’d personally avoid using on delicate or untreated wood, leather, or other porous finishes unless first tested. Instructions also carry warnings for the concentrated form (skin/eye irritation) before dilution. * Dilution means less “ready to go” strength: Because you’re diluting, while claims are strong, some users might perceive a slight difference (e.g., less foaming or “deep clean” feel) compared to heavy duty ready to spray formulas. Final Verdict: This is a very good choice for someone who wants solid disinfectant performance while reducing plastic waste. It strikes a good balance between environmental credentials and everyday cleaning/disinfection demands. The extra step of mixing is minimal in return for the benefits. If you’re comfortable with doing that and reusing bottles, then this product is worth considering.

Great eco frienldy cleaning products
I have been trying over the recent years to reduce my use of harmful cleaning products and also of one-use plastics. I still want my cleaning products to work though as otherwise, I may as well use just water. I have been happy with all these cleaning products in the set, especially the citrus kelp kitchen cleaner. I use spray bottles that I have bought with my previous cleaning products in and re use these rather than buying special bottles to use. These work out at a good price as you pay £6.99 for five products and although the vials look small they make up a standard amount of product when water is added. You are just not paying for added water or for the extra weight for them to be delivered so all in all far more eco-friendly. So they are not only eco-friendly but they are also plant based. They have been fully tested and are effective, pet-friendly and plastic-free cleaning.

A fantastic and cheaper alternative to subscriptions like SMOL.
I've purchased the likes of SMOL products in the past on trials. While they look good and have good advertising, the products aren't actually that good. Queue Ocean Saver! These small packs work like detergent pods. Simply fill a spray bottle with 500ml warm water, add and shake. Each individual box also comes with labels if you want to rebrand your bottles with the actual product info. The spray is great for antibac and cutting through grease. I purchased the pink grapefruit scent but this doesn't come through much, it does have quite a chemically smell when spraying but this dissipates very quickly.

No labels in home home cleaning kit.
Home Cleaning Bundle - 3 star If you do want new bottles, I strongly advise you obtain the new style design Ocean Saver branded bottles from your local supermarket as they both look nicer, and appear to have a better spray mechanism function than the old style Ocean Savers ones currently sold on Amazon. My experience with these cleaners was pretty mixed. The floor cleaner is the star of this range imho with the bathroom cleaner not worth bothering with. I purchased this pod refill only set as I am spring cleaning my elderly mother's house for something to do with myself while she recovers from a fall. As I use up her old non-eco products, I am refilling with these little pods. After my cleaning blitz, I had used up several Cif, Astonish, Dettol, and Asda-branded 750ml cleaner bottles, which incidentally have decent spray mechanisms, so they were ideal for refilling and relabelling once properly rinsed out. That's where I hit a major snag with this set - the total absence of any nicely printed product labels! I am NOT happy about this because it's a H&S issue, and it has left me scrambling back to mine for a Sharpie pen to label all Mum's old bottles. I can only presume Ocean Savers intended this set of pods to be sold only in conjunction with their own expensive, ready-labelled bottles only. Hardly the green solution when most people have several empties just waiting to be refilled under their kitchen sinks already, and nor is it the cost-effective solution when we are in the middle of a COLC. I had chosen this brand because they are easily obtainable in the supermarket so if she liked them, she'd easily be able to buy them again once she is better. Tescos even does its own brand cheaper copycat version of the Kitchen, bathroom, antibac, and multi-purpose pods. Tbh had I known of the lack of labels with this set, I'd have bought the Tescos 75p pods instead of these from Amazon. Kitchen Cleaner - This cleaner works well for the daily wipe down of the kitchen to remove fresh grease splashes and cooking spills. I wouldn't use it for a deep clean like a start or end of tenancy scrub down, though, as it's not got quite enough oomph for that. It dissolves nice and quickly in under 5 mins, so it is ready to use almost immediately. For sheer deep cleaning oomph, I think both the ecofamily kitchen tablet & Spruce multi-purpose powder refill sachet are more effective but both are more expensive. The lemon scent is mild enough not to interfere with your appetite. The upside of this product is that the larger 750ml rather than the usual 500ml makes it much more cost effective. Bathroom cleaner. I do like that you get 750 quantities, making it a better value than many eco-cleaning refills. Sadly this is like cleaning with pink water only. I trialled this on my own bathroom, which was already fairly clean, and found it to be pretty hopeless. To be fair, I think the same of SMOL bathroom cleaner tablets, too. We have soft water but use solid shampoo and soap, so we want something capable of dealing with soap scum. I'll be sticking with my ecofamily or homethings refill tablets for this daily task, & using the new non eco friendly Zoflora bathroom cleaner for deep cleans. Ocean Savers let themselves down with this product, which having used the laundry and dishwasher products previously and been impressed, I can honestly say the bathroom is really letting the range down. It bady needs some reformulation if it is to match the standard of the rest of the range. Anti-bac—This is a lovely, fresh scent that leaves surfaces smelling lovely and fresh. (It also seems pretty much identical to the Tesco own-brand pod cleaner refill, which is only 75p.) It is comparable in use to the new Zoflora pods (£1.70 each) and the Must Have Ideas Ylang Ylang pods(75p) & might be nice to use when I fancy a switch up in scents. Multi-purpose - lavender is rather lovely in the bedrooms, and anywhere you might feel like relaxing. I've reviewed the floor cleaner separately below. The kitchen and floor cleaners will deffo be re-ordered the jury is still out on whether I bother with the other 3 at the moment. IF I do, the lack of labels in this set means that I'm more likely to pick them up in Tescos where the cost of these 5 cleaners is currently £6.25 using a clubcard, or £1.25 per pod. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bulk pack Floor Cleaners review 5 star. - I use one of these pods in my empty Method rhubarb floor cleaner bottle, as it's just the right size for dilution. Just as effective both in cleaning power and with just as nice a scent as Method, but each bottle of Ocean Savers floor cleaner costs approximately £1.80 instead of Method's minimum of £3.25 a throw. (Ocean Savers works out even cheaper at approx £1.50 if like me, you get it on subscription!) This is quite a saving, and I still get my nicely scented rhubarb floors in spite of the COLC :) I use it further diluted from the old Method container into my spray mop for that quick daily squish and swipe that every household containing kids & pets requires. A direct squirt onto the floor from the method bottle for any really stubborn stains. The surfaces it gets used on are as follows, vinyl, ceramic tile, laminate, parquet wood flooring, so it really is versatile. It cleans really well, which matters as ours is a dog & mud loving household, and smells wonderful. Absolutely the star of this range imho. It is pet-safe, & non-toxic, which is very important for us. It is manufactured in the UK It is plastic-free so ticks my desire to be sustainable and reduce our use of single-use plastics. It actually cleans properly, which is very important because life is too short to deal with an icky, sticky kitchen or bathroom floor. Vegan which is important to some people. I alternate this cleaner with the ecofamily pink grapefruit tablets, and homethings pods simply because I enjoy a change of scent from time to time, particularly as I despise housework but have found myself having to clean two homes due to my elderly mother's poor health. Anything that motivates me to get the job done helps, and this smells lovely. The pods are packed in individual boxes, each containing a nice big label for legal reasons. The labels mean you can just reuse any correctly sized container you already have lying about at home, provided of course you rinse it out properly first. Storage—Keep the refill pods in a dry place, well out of the reach of children, pets, and vulnerable adults due to their concentrated nature. They take up very little space so it's nice to have enough in stock so as to be sure you won't run out. Each pod takes about 15 minutes to dissolve in the correct amount of cold tap water. This product is also available at Costco and Sainsbury's as well as on the Ocean Savers Website, so it's quite easily available for most. Sadly, unlike most of the range, it is not currently available at Tescos or Asda yet, but as the concept of cleaning refills gains pace rapidly, hopefully, that will soon change. In the meantime being able to buy it on Amazon subscribe and save makes it very convenient.
