Perfect for my needs. Placed on my recliner arm, it tends to shift a little as I lean back or forward but not enough to be bothersome. For my purposes, this is very well made; stores everything that I need to store and then some. The tray on top is handy for a variety of uses and nothing falls off because of the low sidewalls surrounding it. For all of that, it looks nice, is neither obnoxiously large nor uselessly small.

I like it because it does hold all the TV/DVD/Cable remotes. The only problem at first was some slipping off because I was trying to use it on the couch that has wider arm rests. Solved the problem by putting a weighted object on the inside pocket to balance the weight of the remotes. I like that I can set my coffee mug own for short times and not have to worry about staining the fabric on the furniture. Only improvement I can think of would be to already come with a counterweight or maybe add a hard plastic clip sort of thing on the under side so its more securely attached to the furniture.

I searched all over for one of these organizers that would fit a wide armrest and this worked out perfectly! My only complaint is the top compartment could be a little wider to accommodate a full size plate. There's also pockets for remotes and other things you might need while watching tv. It's made well and not flimsy and stays put. As other reviewers have stated, this is not for narrow arm rests. But if you have a recliner or sofa with wider armrests, these will probably work. You just might have to balance to ends by putting equal weight in the pockets so it won't slide off. Would buy this again!

The product is just ok - a bit flimsy but does have a nasty musty odor that I hope goes away otherwise it will go in the trash

"Large Design Fits Most Armrests" -- not true at all. There is nothing included to secure it to the arm -- unless the arm of your chair is close to the actual width, it won't work right. For narrow arms, it won't stay in place. If you put anything in the pockets, you have to carefully counter-balance the weight in the other pocket. I see from the other reviews that people have used pins and tape to hold it in place -- but that should have been mentioned in the description of the product!It is a very poor choice for chairs with narrow arms. If you expect to put anything heavy in the tary, you can expect it to spill -- at least that part of the product description was reasonably accurate -- it shows a very small bowl of popcorn, which is about as much as it can safely hold, without very secure taping or pinning.I've given it one star because I feel the advertising was misleading in saying "Large Design Fits Most Armrests" -- the design is large, but it will only work on larger chair arms. Even with pinning or taping, the overhang of the tray intrudes into the chair space and you'll constantly bump it.Don't hype a product as "one size fits most" when in fact, it only fits a very narrow range of arm sizes. If the product will require extra work -- for example pinning or taping to make it work right -- mention that upfront, or even better, include an installation kit.This type of product serves a useful purpose and I'll keep shopping, hoping to have learned something from this experience.

I have a plush velour chair with big arms in my bedroom and wanted something that could hold my various remotes, pads of paper, pens, earbuds and a kindle. This is working out great for me. I did use the top of it to hold drinks by placing a saucer in the middle for support. It worked quite well. I also have used the top to hold a box of tissues. This is a very handy, well made and useful product.

I do not think this product is worth the money until they improve it as a whole. Will tip over if there is anything too heavy on the top square which holds cups it is pretty tight on the sides to get the remote in and out of so that causes fumbling and with it not being sturdy that is not ideal.
