Very useful Steamer
great steamer . it is super easy to use and the durability of this steamer is impressive. I've had it for a few years already and works perfectly. No water leakage at all. It heats up within a minute of less.

I really like my new steamer!
I really like my new steamer! I've never had a clothes steamer before: this is my first one. Well, actually, I had bought one before this one that I didn't like. What I like about this one as opposed to the other one I'd bought and returned is that this one steams longer without needing more water. (Before buying this one, I had looked up which steamer to get, and an article said that this one was the best for steaming more clothes at once.) That definitely seems to be true. I still had a bit of water left after trying the steamer out on several clothes. It has a bar that you can use to, like, press the clothes like an iron does (like ironing vertically without using a board). I like that feature because it seems to help if you need to press something down that is either sticking up or has a crease somewhere that you don't want. (I tried it on a light to medium blouse that always had a weird crease in the lace-like part, and it got that out.) I also like that this steamer can steam vertically or horizontally. It gets very hot and does a good job of getting out the wrinkles! I tried it on heavier jeans-like pants and it worked well on those. It has a low and high setting. It comes with different attachments, which is nice. I'm pleased, and it seems as if it'll actually be fun to prep my clothes! (The steamer says that it has a three-year warranty.)

Worth it/best steamer* (*cons), & I included tips/recommendations after 4 years of every day use
OVERALL: I trust this steamer so much, I am buying the same model to replace the 4-year-old near-dead one I purchased here after WEEKS of thorough research. I will go right to the pros and cons first, and then I will elaborate on my recommendations/tips for this steamer. Pros: Easy to use, heats up fast, effective on most fabrics, relatively easy-to-fill water chamber, no need to empty water chamber after every use if using distilled water, can be tilted flat without dripping (which makes it great for sanitizing couches/curtains/mattresses/fabric headboards/other upholstery like fabric on chairs/etcetera), long power cord, big water chamber/consistent steaming for 15 minutes, fabric/lint accessory effectively picks up lint, pretty large flat bottom means it stands upright steadily (even on the couch), and can be taken apart for thorough cleaning (BUT see cons below). Cons: On the heavier side, steamer and accessories will rust/get crusty and stinky if filled with faucet water instead of distilled water (eventually leading to leaking/dripping), cleaning the steamer and accessories takes HOURS between the difficulty and tediousness of removing the accessories/needing a screwdriver/steamer gap is too thin for even q-tips, not super effective on cotton (like thick t-shirts), takes up a lot of storage space (especially with the accessories—which really should come with a case or special bag for storing because it is not like you can store them stacked like dishes/plates), not very travel-friendly due to its size and weight without water and because it works best with the brand’s over-the-door ironing pad, accessories are difficult to remove, steam button/switch gets jammed with frequent use, and definitely not fall-resistant (this sounds obvious “like duhh,” as if one unlikely would accidentally knock it over or lose grip of it, but the steam is powerful and obviously scorching hot, which can lead to “sweat” on the handle or accidental burning if one has hand holding fabric taut at say the shoulders and the steamer is at the garment’s bottom edge/trim). I highly recommend buying the Sunbeam over-the-door ironing pad (also sold on Amazon, though not on this product’s page) because it is easier to use this steamer upright, and you do not want to risk damaging wooden doors/their paint. I also recommend to always use distilled water or filtered water as a last resort, but definitely never from the faucet. Upon the first time using faucet water, the steamer and its accessories got rusty, crusty (guessing the salt?), AND VERY STINKY (also making the steamed garments stinky). If garment is hung up, and wrinkles are not easily coming free or steaming the front is causing wrinkles on the garment’s back fabric, I recommend placing the steamer on the inside (between the fabrics), to steam from the inside out, while holding the fabric taut from the very bottom edge. If steaming creases, I recommend using an oven mitten and placing your hand between the fabrics (otherwise, you can end up causing a crease on the back of the garment). If I think of anything else worth relating, I will update my review.

Exactly the right steamer for a quick press and convenience
This is the best small hand held steamer I have ever used. You have much better control over the amount of steam plus you have the hot plate that functions similar to an iron. It is fast, convenient and inexpensive. All of these hand held home steamers will spit from time to time but with a little practice with different fabrics, the proper temperature and the amount of steam you are using, this one does not. I highly recommend a jiffy steam board. I found this one at a very discounted price. Jiffy Steamer Steamboard 0892A . I hung it on the back of my bedroom door and keep the steamer very close by in a cabinet. Anything that needs to be pressed can be touched up in 5 minutes as I am getting ready to go. I researched these steamers ad nauseum, ordered several and sent them back. These handheld steamers are not intended to replace your iron or sending your clothes out for professional pressing. For the most part they are for light touchup or refresh. Unless you want to spring for a commercial steamer costing much more then this is as good as it gets for the money.

Best travel steamer, don't waste your money on cheaper ones!
In advance of traveling to a wedding, I knew I'd need a travel steamer for my bridesmaid dress. I researched options heavily (I mean hours and hours of research). I don't like to waste my money on bad appliances, especially when there are ample reviews out there. This one got the best ratings on several sites and so I bought it, even though it was more expensive than lots of competing options. Having previously owned a terrible handheld steamer, I can say with confidence that this one is great. It is a bit heavy, but I can easily use it with one hand. You don't need distilled water (huge benefit if you're traveling), and it does a perfect job with very minimal splatter (none if you let it heat up for a couple minutes). I was not paid for this review, nor was it solicited from me. I just genuinely enjoy this product and wanted to vouch for it. I've used it a lot and it has never failed me or malfunctioned.

Fairly easy to use steamer with some issues
Bought this for occasional steaming of my jeans and some shirts. The primary use has come to be for steaming my pillow cases a few times per week. I know it sounds strange but there is something really peaceful about having freshly steamed pillow cases when you lay down at night. I’ve run into a few issues though... PROS: - So many uses I never thought about when I purchased it. Pillow cases, towels, even my thermal socks have been added to the list of items I am steaming consistently. - Works great. Paired it with an over the door steam pad for easy use. CONS: - Steam button has a feature where if you press it and lift up slightly, it stays triggered and releases steam constantly. It’s very easy to inadvertently engage this and not know it until you set it down and steam is still billowing out. - Cord doesn’t really store easily. You basically have to wrap it around the steamer or very judiciously wrap it up so that the notch on the plug part aligns with the cord to attach.

Amazing!!!!!
This handheld steamer is AMAZING! I used to have a full size stand up steamer that I kept in the basement laundry room (where my ironing board and iron are) and it was taking just as much time to go down there, turn it on, wait for it to warm up, bring my garments down and steam them, as it would to just whip out the iron and iron them. Then I remembered the Evlis Duran crew raving about this after their Mexico trip so I found this and decided to purchase it. WHAT AN AMAZING PRODUCT!!! I keep this in my room with all of my clothes, so that way I can steam right away with my garmets as I take them out to wear them. It takes like 15 seconds to heat up and get ready so I can start steaming basically immediately! I just bought the basic unit – I don’t think all the other accessories are necessary. How I steam my clothes – I have an over the door hook (1 hook) and then I hang a hanger on that hook, put my shirt on it, and steam it, turn the hanger around, then steam the other side. The steam does not get all over the door and it works like a charm. The basic unit comes with accessories like a lint cover, a protective cover (to prevent your hand from getting burned with steam) and an attachemnt to create a seam. It has a low and high setting so if you need to be more gentle with a garmet, use the low setting. I use the high setting on just about everything and so far so good. Would HIGHLY recommend this product – it makes getting ready in the morning SO EASY.

Steamer doesn't work and it's too late to return
The Sunbeam steamer was recommended by the NY Times Wirecutter and I purchased it during an Amazon Prime promotion in 2023. It was in the box until today when I needed it to steam a wool coat. There were visible rub marks on the steamer casing and the water tank had moisture in. It had clearly been used but the worst part is it DOESN'T WORK! It turns on but doesn't heat up or emit steam. I'm past the return date so I'm left with a useless item that had probably been returned as faulty and then resold. Thanks Amazon, I'm very disappointed.
