This is a great (IFAK) individual first aid kit, based on the US military issued IFAK for special operations units. it contains all of the essentials for Tactical Trauma Treatment. it contains a combat tourniquet, celox or quikclot, trauma shears, Israeli compression bandage, compressed gauze, Chest seal, Gauze sponge, Nasopharyngeal tube, lubricant, triple antibiotic, alcohol pads, cloth tape roll, large bandage and nitrile gloves. perferct to carry in a cargo pocket, in a backpack, or on your kit, or to fill your existing kit pouch. comes packaged in a ziplock style resealable water tight bag, that can easily be stuffed into a backpack or cargo pocket. some items may be swapped out or interchanged with like items, based on availability, items are new and military surplus items, never used. these are the same items supplied to our military service members.

This product contains all items you will find in any standard issue USA or USAF individual first aid kit (IFAK,) save that this comes with only 1 combat application tourniquet (CAT.) Items I received were still factory sealed and presumably sterile, and none of the items are approaching their expiration date.If you want a product that will give you the same life saving capability your milspec issued IFAK did, this is it.Product comes in a large 1 quart freezer bag, which I may upgrade later to a purpose built IFAK container, but probably not. I'll most likely keep ths ziploc bag in my range bag, as it serves the same purpose of keeping all the items together.

Some questionable expiration dates....
My biggest concern is that the expiration date on some items looks to have been scratched out. This may be naive of me, but I was also surprised to see items manufactured in Malaysia / China within a US military IFAK.

Good stuff.
Very nice gear. Shipping took weeks. Owner was communicative and indicated that he wanted to include all the parts but they weren't in stock. Good set of kit for the money.

This is one of the best kits you could possibly own
This is one of the best kits you could possibly own. I bought one for myself as well as another family member. They are worth every penny. I especially appreciate that this kit comes with Celox rather than Quick Clot. I have nothing against Quick Clot ... but I still haven't gotten over the original formulation that chemically burned when applied. Celox creates coagulation without heat and even works on hemophiliacs. This is an excellent kit for first responders, military, and anyone who may encounter a traumatic injury without immediate EMS (i.e. while hunting, etc.).
