I love to bake, I live in the U.S. but I use metric measurements for accuracy. One day I'll splurge on a super expensive kitchen scale, but I went with this one on a whim. I've had my Polder for years, it was time for a new scale as mine was getting non-reactive. First of all, I LOVE that this one takes AAA batteries. Second, it's super slim, I can tuck it away easily. Third... and my favorite, it's super reactive to touch - it turns on and off easily and changed measurement types at a touch. The buttons are not really buttons... they are touch sensors, so no food particles get stuck around them. Nice. Another perk, the display is backlit making it easy to read, bonus. The only weird thing about it is that it has a ml (milliliter) option for measurement, no such thing as measuring ml in weight, oh well. For the price it's a darn solid scale. I just used it to bottle 12L of probiotic pickles & make homemade marinara sauce!! It wipes clean and looks like new! One thing I learned after making the video is that a long press on the power button turns it off. It comes with batteries and an instruction sheet so you are ready to go right out of the box. You can be using it in 1 minute! (I still haven't read the instructions, but I do LOVE IT!). The card inside has a code you can scan for a lifetime warranty as well. It weighs in lbs/oz, ml, and grams. This is a win! I highly recommend it!!

This scale is perfect for all your food weighing needs . I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and quality of the scale . The scale has a very sleek design. It has a smooth surface and very easy to clean. I am on Weight Watches so I do weigh everything! The numbers on the display are large and lite up. It has a large surface for weighting food. I like the Tate Button to minus out the weight of my bowl or dish I am weighing my food in. I like that it only uses 2 AAA batteries. The scale does not fluctuate the weight of the food while it is on the scale. It measures the food in lb, oz, g and ml. I push the display button to change the display to how I want to weigh my food. If I forget to turn off the scale it will shut off automatically in a couple of minutes. I am very satisfied with the performance of the scale. This scale is an excellent value for the price. It is small, sleek and accurate!

The scale is sleek and it appears as advertised. It is light weight and comes with two batteries ready to use. Easy to operate and appears to be very accurate. I used it to weigh out 1 oz of raw almonds and it was spot-on. The initial opening of the battery compartment- which is located on the underside of the device- may be a very minor initial challenge for anyone who suffers from difficulty with fine motor dexterity of their fingers. It's a slide-to-open latch compartment that gets easier to manipulate after its initial open.Very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  We have had this scale for 3 years now and it has been well loved! I’ve had NO battery issues whatsoever!! I like that it’s slim and can easily be tucked away but If you prefer to keep it on the counter it’s also a sleek white. Whether you need it for measuring recipes or portion control this is perfect for the job! I think this scale has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen and is worth the purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  I saw someone asking if this was easy to use and the answer is yes. Basically you turn it on, press the TARE button to zero the scale, if you are using a bowl to hold whatever you are going to weigh then place the empty bowl on the scale and hit the TARE button and it will only weigh the stuff in the bowl. I thought that was awesome. I wish I had some more accurate weight to check out the amazing resolution but I am satisfied it is accurate and looks cool and is easy to clean. Additionally, it will weight items in LB/OZ or Grams or ML or just plain OZ if you need a really accurate measure of a small amount. This is the perfect kitchen scale so it gets 5 Stars from me

The food scale (Oneida brand) I've had for years has been on the fritz for a while, died but then resurrected itself, sometimes the buttons don't register they've been pushed. So it needed to be replaced! This scale is great! I use it at least twice a day to measure my dog's food. It is much slimmer than my old one and looks great on the counter. I love the lighted display and that there are no buttons to click, just two touch sensitive areas. My favorite things are that you can change units (there are 4) while there is food on the scale (my old scale had to be turned off and on again to set a new unit of measure) and that it uses common AAA batteries (included with scale). My old scale takes TWO CR2031 button batteries, ugh. I like that the pounds unit reports in lbs and oz, instead of fractions of a pound and that the oz. unit shows the hundredths decimal place. It was also very accurate compared to my old scale. The only negative thing is that the brushed nickel surface got immediately, but only slightly scratched when first testing it out, but that isn't enough to take off a star. Maybe consider leaving on the blue protective film? LOL j/k that would look weird.
