Best toe nail clippers ever, especially for extremely thick toe nails. Well worth the price.
About twenty years ago I had chemotherapy. This wreaked havoc with my toenails. I will leave out the gory details. But for some reason a podiatrist could not explain to me, this left me vulnerable to fungus. As a result my toe nails got ludicrously thick, especially the big toes. The only thing the podiatrist could do for me was jab a long thick needle between my toes and then rip my toe nails off my toes. Every time he did this they came back worse than before. And I have been looking for years for a decent toe nail clipper wide enough to handle my toe nails to no avail. I have literally been using tin snips all these years and that has been painful and I have slipped a few times and I will spare you those gory details as well. I was told by all the pharmacies and cosmetic supply companies that there are no such thing as toe nail clippers that will open wide enough for my nails. And then my new doctor told me that was not true and suggested I go to Amazon and search for toe nail clippers for thick nails and I did and this was the best rated one I found in my price range. I was so excited when I opened up the package. Now this comes with two. I did not try the small one. I went strait for the large one. My big toe nails were curled all the way around and under my toes because of the difficulty using other methods. So I spent an hour. I will admit I had to do this a little at a time. I think my case is unusual. Me nails on my big toes were almost three eighths of an inch thick. It was like I had horns at the end of my toes. So it did take that entire hour but I managed to snip away and snip away. The angle of the sharp edge was perfect for this. It actually took me maybe a couple of minutes to get rid of the most of the nail on each toe. But I did have to very carefully snip away one nibble at a time to get my nail down to the smallest it has been since I was a child. I'm 65 years old. So it's a little difficult just reaching my toes these days. So within an hour I had my nails trimmed to the right length for the first time in twenty years. Then I took out the nail file and smoothed everything down with that. It doesn't look like much. In fact I was prepared to be very unimpressed by it's appearance. But once I got the plastic film off the business end and started using it I actually was impressed. That file did a very nice job. I have not encountered that design before. It's almost like an emery board in texture instead of the traditional cross hatched nail file you usually find. I like that this particular nail file does not have a sharp point at the end so no accidental stabbing under your toe while losing balance or slipping. This set is by far the very best toe nail clippers I have ever encountered. It may seem pricy but I think it's well worth the price. I was prepared to be disappointed with the quality but nope. It is better in person than the pictures say and the carrying case is very convenient. I have one criticism. And I won't take a point off for this because it is exactly as described. But I would suggest offering this with longer handles. This would provide better leverage. I would say another inch or two and if they come up with one and it's under $40 I will buy it. My senior citizen fingers could have used just a little more leverage. But other than that this is perfect. So my real rating is 4.9 stars out of five and I rounded up by a tenth of a star.

Very Nice.
I like these nail clippers especially fore my toes. The wide jaw feature is great, and comes sharp to get the hard tough nails. Precise angle for easier manipulation to get to your nails. The fingernail clippers especially fore comes sharp for ease and comfort. These Vepkuso clippers work great.

Good clippers
The clippers are sharp and cut well. The angled clippers are easier to use on toes. The straight clippers work ok for fingers, but I found I cut too far when I used them the first time. I think I can get used to them. The file has a blue film on the abrasive part that does not peel off. I am not sure why that is.

Great clipper set
This is a very useful set of clippers. Sharp and cutting edges are well aligned.

Finally, toenail clippers that work!
I'm on the elderly side of old. Yes, my toenails are thick, hooked at the end and difficult to cut. Thank heavens for a loving wife that cuts them for me after a toenail softening shower. Now, I have a cabinet full of nail clippers of various sorts. All promised great ability to cut tough, old, thick toenails. None do it well. We have struggled with cutting my toenails. So when I saw a pair of clippers in one if those unwanted video ads on my phone I went to Amazon to see if it sold there. It was, but the reviews were brutal. Another dud. But in looking up the other clippers I bumped into the Vepkuso nail clippers. I was drawn to their bent shape, wide opening jaws, and long handles for good mechanical advantage. I didn't use them right away, but the time finally came when my toenails were beginning to look like Howard Hughes' and I knew this would be a good test. My wife will confirm these are far easier to use and function extremely well for thick, curved, long toenails. We have never had another pair with the wide opening for thick nails, very sharp with strong handles and very short toenails resulting with relative ease compared to all our other clippers (lots of them!). It's real simple, based on our experience, highly recommended!

Jury is still out on this purchase.
Jury is still out on this purchase. Fingernail clipper is small, and concerned the "spring" assist may not last. Toenail clipper is OK because it's sharp, easy to use for fingernails. Not as big as I need for toenails, however, but likely will keep it for for fingers. As others have stated, the file is not great.

Good Trimmers—Very Sharp
Amazingly good trimmers. They’re very sharp, give good leverage and fold flat in their metal box for storing.

Good quality and clips nails reasonable well
Easier to use for seniors than regular clips. Personally I would like an even bigger opening but I suspect most will not care
