Sloppy-fitting hat but the concept of a light built into a beanie is cool.It is not as awkward as another headlamp light I have used.

This is one of those, "Why didn't we think of this?" inventions. It is an item that just makes sense!Between my bald headed significant other's beanie obsession and my nerdy affinity towards flashlights, this is the perfect combo.The Beanie arrived in a nice looking box, making it suitable for gift giving and was wearable right out of the box. It's 100% polyester construction made it wrinkle and smoosh free.The hat is one size fits all, which can be difficult for big headed beings like my significant other whose head is like Charlie Brown. He stated the hat was a bit snug, but I have successfully used shoe stretchers and semi deflated soccer balls to stretch other beanies for a custom fit, so this is not an issue. The beanie was a comfy fit on my semi-normal sized girl head.* The outer portion of the beanie has an almost neoprene feel to it, so it looks sleek and modern while retaining its shape. There is no weird puffing at the crown or gapping, but enough material to pull comfortably over the ears if desired. Because of the polyester outer, this hat is a better choice for light rain over a wool, fleece or cotton cap. We will be spraying it with water-proofing spray.* Interior feels like a soft, brushed, breathable fleece. The battery pack and the 4 LED lights do not press into the head* The battery pack and on/off switch are semi-awkwardly located at the back of the hat. In a perfect world, a small, easily accessible push button would be right by the light itself, like most traditional headlamps* The included battery is the very common, inexpensive, easy to find CR2032, like you would use for many watches, gadgets and key fobs. We can pick them up at most grocery and drug stores. CR2032 batteries tend to have a very long life span.* The beanie description states the light will reach up to 42 feet. We estimated visibility to appx 20 yards. with a wider horizontal range than what is shown in the listing photos Outstanding!* Care tag/instructions are not included on the hat or in the box, but material/care and directions are very clearly outlined in the listing. 100% polyester. Remove battery pack before hand washing in warm soapy water. Do not wash LED area. Use a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or dry. No bleach. Line dry appx 24 hours.This hat will see a ton of use between backyard bonfires, camping, dog walking down our pitch black lane and nighttime boating when we take the dog to shore and need hands free lighting action to defend ourselves against the imagined wild animals that may attack.It has a multitude of purposes. I was happy to receive a small discount to review and will be buying one to add to our camping gear and one to keep on the boat. A must own item!

This beanie is awesome! Received it yesterday, free of charge thanks to this awesome seller, iHomeLife-EC! Prior to receipt I had my doubts as to the quality of this led beanie. My mind was convinced that 50 lumens was dimmer than a recently extinguished candle. I was GREATLY mistaken. Thanks to Mother Nature, we had a major power outage in my neighborhood last night. What better time than to give this little critter a workout. Firstly, I'm 6'5" and nearly 300 pounds. My head is by no means child-sized. I half expected the beanie to shoot off my head like a rock out of a slingshot. Again, to my surprise, it slid right on and remained firmly in place. Come winter, this will be my go to evening attire. Even with the battery pack concealed in the liner, there was no discomfort. As an aside, the battery pack contains the on/off switch. When I switched the led nights on in the inky darkness, I was astounded at the brilliance that the 4 small lights provided. They are mounted in 2 sets of 2 lights, fixed in a slightly downward position. This will be absolutely perfect this upcoming fishing season. This product has GREATLY exceeded all my expectations. It was shipped super fast, packed very securely and offered no unpleasant surprises. The material was soft and generously sized. The uses are infinite. Buy and I guarantee you'll enjoy it. Now get out and do a little night-time catfishing or camping. You'll probably want everyone in your family to have one, if not for safety issues alone!

This product is quite simple, but ingenious, I have to say. Who ever thought to put a flashlight in a knit cap? Or beanie? Well, the folks at HomeBeck did and good thing, too. The world needs more lighted beanies. Sounds funny but this is really handy for the cold at night and having to do something winter. Yes - I bought this in the summer. But can you imagine what you could do if you wake up at 5:30am in January and you need to shovel the driveway full of snow? Turn on the LED light on the lighted-hat, that's what. The beam is pretty strong and is made to spread out so a person can see easily what they are doing. I certainly plan on using this when it gets even colder or if I end up going camping when it cools off a bit. The material seems really strong, too. Not like some of the cheaper beanies I've bought in the past that want to unravel, but sturdy material. Not sure what it is made of - and quite honestly, don't really care. Believe it or not, I've told some people about what I bought and they thought it seemed like a novelty until I showed it to them. Their laughter turned to genuine grins when they saw this lighted hat they realized they could all use. I'll definitely keep this for working in the winter. It will come in handy.

This beanie hat is super soft and very warm- its ultra comfortable - I found it to be on the small size for a man- but it did stretch and I loved it! Great for those winter nights walking the dog or looking for something in the yard!Simple to operate- on/off switch located in the rim - hidden!This comes in a nice package for gift giving for that someone who has everything!Kids would love this too-Great hands free for those emergency night time tire changes too! I think this is a super versatile hat and everyone should have one- or two and keep on in the car-I did have the opportunity to get this LED bright light beanie cap at no cost for testing, inspecting and reviewing.
