(wife replying) At times when my husband and I are outside in the backyard and one of us goes in, it is automatic we lock the door behind us. Of course the other one is still outside and will remain so because we are now locked out. I found an easy way to fix this misadventure. I bought these faux sprinklers to put the house keys in so the one left outside (usually me) can get back in. I have tried to knock on the door, bang on windows and even thought seriously about climbing over the locked gate to get to the front door and ring the door bell, but figured I would probably fall and break a limb, and still not be able to get to the front door. Since my husband has usually retreated to his man cave with the TV blaring he says he couldn't hear me. So my best alternative was these hide a key holders.

Great product! If someone wants to break into my home, every crook knows to look for the rock, the bunny or the turtle. These faux sprinkler heads look authentic and part of my flower bed. Looks like the real thing. This will hold three keys (as long as they’re not really large). It easily goes into the ground, and blends in well with our other sprinkler heads. A much better idea than those fake rocks that anyone can easily spot. Looks sturdy and closes tightly to keep out moisture.

Larger than I expected. Still I put it in my grass and it blends in well. Very inconspicuous. Nice for emergencies. Can fit at least 4 keys or maybe a good size roll of bills.

What a great idea! I couldn’t get a key copied so my kids were unable to get into the house. With this product I can put that key inside and my kids will be able to get to me if needed.

I love this hide a key. It is great for stashing a key in plain sight. I have it in my flowerbed and you can’t tell it is any different then the real sprinkler heads.
