Not pure nickel
I do not care what the other reviews say. This may work fine with diy batteries or something that doesnt fully require pure nickel. I bought these because of the reviews stating they were pure nickel. Im doing electro plating. I figured i could take a bunch of these and do the process. After setting everything up correctly. Letting them sit for a whole night. I walk out the next morning to find that the solution is not a light green clear electrolyte. No it is a light blue color. Like the waters in the Caribbean. This means it is not pure and did not work correctly. My advice. Save your money. Dont waste your time on this junk.

Mixing a lot of nickle plated strips with some really one!!!
My batch have a lot of mixed nickle plated strips in it. They are very hard to spot weld. When I do find a real nickle strip in the batch its very easy to spot weld, the real strips are more more flexible and thinner then the nickle plated one. I don't know if the seller did it on purpose to scam the buyer or not, but these are not ALL 100% PURE NICKLE STRIPS!!! I will try to return my batch!!

Lies. Plated steel. NOT Pure
Lies... label states 99.6% Pure Nickel... in my decades of engineering I have never come across ferrous nickel... these are clearly steel that are plated, but in no way states that they are...

Authentic and NOT Nickel plated steel.
I was worried about getting nickel plated steel. First thing I did when I got this was scratch the surface and put in a salt bath for 24 hours. I thought, lets try the the vinegar/peroxide/salt method to double check.Everything turned out perfect. After 2 day soak, no rust in these. Would highly recommend. Using these to spot weld 30a 18650 4s2p lipo's for an RC airplane.

Worked out just okay!
I cannot validate the authenticity of this product for pureness as I have no means to test it so.. I will say these "so called Pure" Nickel Strip 99.6% Nickel, 0.15 x 6 x 50mm for 18650 batteries Soldering Tabs were okay for building a Lithium Ion battery pack as I do not have spot welding machine. BTW, These are very thin and cannot handle huge amount of current draw. I think each fine strip it is limited well below 6-8 Amps current draw per group of cells. As long as you understand the limits you should be fine. One of the battery packs I made I found these single strips would heat up during battery pack charging process so I had to double the strips to keep the series parallel junction cool. At about 20 cents each these aren't that cheap and mere 50 pieces gets used up pretty fast when you are building a battery pack. The good news is that soldering the tabs works just fine as long as you dab them generously with flux and flow solder at good high temperatures for short duration. You do not want to heat-up the battery posts for too long as you might ruin them permanently.Rating them with three stars!

I'm happy with them
Pure Nickel Strips for Batteries- 99.6% Purity 100pcs 0.1x4x100mm Nickle Tabs for 18650 High Drain Battery Packs, Lipo, Nimh, Nicad, Nicd Battery Spot Welding and SolderingI haven't tested them to see how pure they might be, but they are magnetic, and I'm not having any issues soldering or passing current and voltage through them. The ones I received were 0.09mm X 4mm X 100mm for me this was good because I was actually looking for 0.08 X 3.175 X 100mm these were the closest I could find.

Received What I Wanted
I purchased these for two reasons. The first was to electroplate copper soldering iron tips with Nickel to slow down corrosion. I did not want to purchase a Nickel anode just for six soldering iron tips. If they were not pure 99.6% Nickel I would soon find out. The Nickel strips worked fine as anodes. The second reason was to build battery packs without a spot welder. Soldering battery packs were no problem either.

Seems legit after some testing
No corrosion in salt water or when used as as electrode (after abrading them first). They are magnetic (pure nickel is magnetic), so they must be of sufficient nickel content (certain alloys of nickel are not ferromagnetic from what I understand). The strips are 0.20 mm thick, but maybe my HF micrometer is off. I'm no chemist or expert in metallurgy, but these seem legit. I'm not sure why so many people on the internet think pure nickel is not magnetic -- look it up.

NOT %99.6 pure
This was far from "pure" nickel. The attached photo will show the impurities (black) in approximately 3 feet of the nickel roll.
