HP Envy x360 m Convertible 15m-ed1013dx 1G0E4UA. The display cracked when the hinge broke. The display arrived well packed in a styrofoam container made to hold it along with lots of bubble wrap protecting it inside the container. The repair video they have here is good. I had a hard time trying to find the plastic tape they were pulling out, if you use a good flashlight you can see inside it's close to the back cover, I kept thinking it was closer to the display itself. I used small needle nose pliers instead of tweezers like they were using. The PCB on the old display where you plug the cable in doesn't match the PCB on the original display, they have a note in the box saying to ignore that. Display worked fine and didn't notice any defects with the screen tests I did. Touch screen worked fine too, even with the protective cover on it. This display comes with the sticky pads, be sure to test the display out before you stick it down. These sticky pads don't have that release layer strip though so it probably means if you have to replace the back cover again the screen might get cracked trying to take it out. I bought item B0BJZPKRY1 back cover and it looked like a perfect clone of the original L93203-001 cover. Be sure to take good pictures of how the wifi antennas were routed. Item B0DSPZZ348 screws worked good too to replace the lost ones when the hinge broke.

Worked as advertised. Great replacement screen. Difficulty for someone with 0 experience will be high. Like 8/10. If you have experience with small electronics it’s a simple install. Do make sure you have a small electronics tool kit. Will help tremendously.

The original has split ribbon to controller, as pictured, but this comes as one ribbon to controller, which is included. I was unsure this would function the same, but it does. Works great.

It was harder to install than the DIY videos made it look - mostly it was harder to get the old one out. The new screen went in well, but they don't tell you about lining up the wires EXACTLY the way you found them. I was really upset because when putting the new screen back in, it wouldn't seat back into the edges. I pushed down at the very edge gently and the new screen cracked. Luckily, it was up by the camera and out of the say, so it doesn't interfere with the function of the touch screen, the camera works just fine and it's barely visible unless you are looking for it at an angle. To this day it still doesn't sit in the case properly, but it's been in for over 6 mths and it's still working fine. No issues opening or closing the screen and it transports perfectly fine too. I just need it to get me through one more semester of school then I won't need to worry about it anymore.

The display of my HP Envy x360 has cracked and local repair shop charges $250 part + $150 labor. I was so glad to get this part for $176. The screen arrived in good packaging. Other than the missing HP logo (expected) it is an exactly replacement. Same brightness as before. The pulling out of the two adhesives is a bit tricky but the video in the amazon product page is very helpful and easy to follow. If this help anyone: I didn't use the plastic guitar-tab like thingy in the video but a cutter blade to open up the laptop casing. Seems to be stronger. And make sure you test the display before snapping it back to the casing.

Screen is very easy to brake. Can be my fault but when I placed it in the laptop the last push (gently), I heard a crack and it had a little scar at the top.

I was at first skeptical of buying this part, but then found that it was exactly what I needed to replace a screen without having to pay somebody else to. Super easy to install and is actually touchscreen as well which is all I really needed.
