This is the second one i have purchased, they disappeared for a while so decided to grab another. It fits on your keyring and the actual refill holder pulls out to give a very short but still usable, smooth writing pen for a quick note, quick calculations etc. If you need to write for longer the components can reassembled to form a full size comfortable to use pen. The refills are relatively small so worth buying a set of 3 spares, each one has lasted a couple of years for me. It is in regular use in situations usually when someone asks for a pen in restaurants or outdoors, it also writes on damp paper with care.

Not really convenient - Too fiddly - Buy True-Utility Stainless Steel Pen Keychain - Miles better - I have 4 of these - 3 spare in case they become unavailable

I have been using these key chain mini pens for years now. I wanted something handy that can write even in freezing temperatures. It can write upside down as well. I work outdoors in all kinds of weather and having a pen on my keys that never fails is a bonus.
