Deltana UFB5000U10B Solid Brass 2-Inch Round Universal Floor Bumper Black

After misplacing a Baldwin version, I quickly ordered one of these. While the brushing effect is slightly less fine than a more expensive brand, it's well made, sturdy and installed easily in a tile floor. No complaints! This taller size is what I needed for a large front door. The grey bumper blends in best, but also comes with a black one if you prefer.

Simple installation (just one large screw, the top, above the bumper unscrews, single hole in the base, that's how you change the rubber bumper too - comes with grey and black rubber ring bumpers, thick).More importantly it's very solid and works well, looks nice too.Most of my doors won't really work with this design ( tripping hazard), but likely I'll swap out a few in spots where it will.

This is the taller model for those with the bottoms of their doors cut higher.I abandoned a traditional baseboard-mounted door stop because this one is installed in our bathroom, and is within "foot distance" of the loo. With a 7 and 5 year old in the house, I figured anything sticking out of the baseboard would be kick fodder, and would not be long for this world.Enter this floor mount stop, It's solid. It's simple. It won't bend or break. I even challenged my youngest, telling him "it's a really heavy weight." He tried kicking and pushing it for a while before I let him in on the truth. I really have no fears of this unit succumbing to their destructive energy.I have a similar stop from Emtek -- brushed nickel rather than "oil rubbed bronze" -- and for all intents, I can't tell them apart based on design or materials.

This product is sturdy once installed, but it didn't come with any instructions and the screwis low quality. The plastic packaging looked old and dirty and mine came with some scuffs on the side and on the bumper. As others had mentioned, the screw is low quality and begins to strip if the pilot hole is not large enough. For $18 bucks, this thing is too pricey for what you get.

Great door stop. Lousy wood screw. Color is nice and is very strong set in the floor. The screw head began to strip out. Make sure you drill your pilot hole large enough to accommodate the screw. Use a hand screw driver so the head does not get stripped out.

I needed these for some french doors in a living room. I didn't want it to stand out or leave to big of a foot print. These were perfect for the job. They are solid, quality, and well priced.
