We used the triple bristle as tooth brush. Normal use. And after 5 month I can trow it away.

This thing works! My 6yo son had 2 cavities that were being monitored. It’s hard to brush a child’s teeth as you can’t get in every corner. I ordered this hoping it would help and it did! 1 month brushing with this and at the next dentist visit, cavities were almost gone!! It really gets ever corner of your teeth!

As a practicing hygienist I was naturally drawn to the Triple Bristle toothbrush because it cleans the gumline automatically. It’s not that other brushes can’t do a good job too - I just found that people who use this three sided brush consistently come to their recall appointment with huge improvements in their gum health. I originally tried the main unit with rechargeable batteries but this one is more affordable for people who are on a tight budget and it does a great job as well. The only downside is that since batteries are not rechargeable you will have to replace batteries when you feel the vibration strength going down. It’s definitely a completely different way to brush. So to all of those people trying it for the first time I recommend that you approach it with an open mind: - Be prepared for some tickling and sensitivity for the first several days. You may also feel the occasional “zing” if the plastic touches your tooth. This goes away as you learn to use it. - Because it cleans more thoroughly and goes right into the gum line, it’s not uncommon to experience some bleeding and sensitivity. This is temporary and usually goes away after several days. Bleeding is a sign of inflammation so as you continue to use the brush you will note that the bleeding stops and your gum health will improve dramatically. - Unlike the original rechargeable unit, this unit comes with batteries that have to be inserted into the handle. This part can be a bit tricky. It closes very tightly so that water doesn’t enter the handle and it can be tough to open. When I called customer service they recommended using a coin (like a quarter) to open and close the bottom. I’ve had quite a few patients ask me about this so I am attaching a quick video about how to assemble this brush start to finish. - You don’t need to move the handle around very much. Just press it down on top of your teeth until it reaches the gums and allow the sonic vibration to do its job. A gentle up and down motion to brush the gums is as much as you should do. This toothbrush will help you brush better and faster. It covers all three sides of your teeth and brushes the gumline perfectly. Since the gum line is often where gum disease starts it can make a really big difference in your oral health. I highly recommend trying this brush if you struggle with dental disease - at this price point it’s really well worth it. Inna C. RDH

I wasn't quite sure how it was going to like this but I really think it was a great investment for us. My son absolutely hates to have his teeth brushed so it is a fight every time we got an electric toothbrush for him when he hit 3 years old and it was doing better but I was still noticing some spots that I would have to get because he just hated it so much. around his canines was a big area and I would have to have him lay down and I would really have to brush them meticulously to get little brown specks off which I thought I was getting off in the initial brushing and I would miss. After the first couple uses of this toothbrush I was obviously seeing some signs that I was missing more spots than I realized and this toothbrush got those places with ease. So far his teeth look beautiful I haven't noticed any areas that brush is missing, the problem areas I was noticing before appear to be getting clean. We go slow it seems soft and gentle and it gets an all-around clean almost effortlessly I try to ensure I'm doing some brushing but in areas where my son freaks out I go so soft and gentle just to keep him calm. Now my son does not have autism that I know of but this is a wonderful toothbrush for hard or scared kids when it comes to teeth brushing. It also comes with a tongue cleaner which he thought was funny but we will learn to use that as well. Only downside I would say is it is a little big for his mouth, he is almost 4 years old and we can use it appropriately on him but he has a very tight mouth and he doesn't like to soften when we brush because he doesn't like it so I have to really try and talk him down during it so it is a little big but not so big that it's not usable. All in all this toothbrush I feel has made our toothbrush experience better, he seems less combative He seems calmer He seems like he's getting a better clean. I think it's better for him.
