Very pleased and birds enoy
Having bought 1,I bought 3 more. My gardenis 6mx 6.5m so relatively and i can see each fountain from the living room. From the images you will see I have used 3 different kind of cantainri copper preserving pan champagne bucket, and 'concrete' flowerpots. I had some problem these waterproof, in the end using waterproof impact glue and plastic from a compost bag, both top and bottom. I used the single 'pole' about 5 cm tall, choosing this so that the spray did not get blown out of the container. The champagne bucket is the most successful because it has the well below and lasts longer before topping up . It is raised up from the found by 2 cylindrical flower pot so 75 cm from the ground .I am am using it as the centre piece of a collection of pots. I top up each fountain each day when I water the flowers . They are solar and should a cloud go over head or you make a shadow with your hand the water virtually stops- The stones are for birds to use. I am particuallypleased because birds are attracted.. So far it is 2 fat pigeons, 2 collar does and 2 sparrows, previously I had no visitors. They are small fountains and work well, but don't expect too much of them........or the weather! In heavy weather I found the bulk of the fountain had sunk and the foam ring floating on the surface. Easy to put back together, but the fountain wasn't working. . There is a a filter, and this needs cleaning (every so often snd before winter storage.Hadn't seen it before.

Very Nice. Failed but replacement issued.
Looks nice, and provides a short spray when in direct sunlight, however when slightly shaded, starts and stops. The straws inserted in the side prevent it from drifting too far to the edge, so you dont lose water. Unfortunately, it didn't even last a year before it stopped working. However, the seller happily replaced the item with a new one, so the issue was resolved. Very good customer service. Will report back if any further problems

CHEAP & EASY SET UP
I recently purchased a glass bird bath which placed in a south facing garden. But as the weather is so hot I didn't want the water to remain stagnant, so purchased this water pump to encourage the birds to bathe and drink from the bird bath. I was able to set up in 30 seconds and pump started working as I stepped out the door to place in the bird bath. You can see the pump works really well giving a nice gentle fountain, which I am sure my feathered friends will appreciate in this hot weather. The only negative would be is that the fountain mostly empties the bird bath as the spray of water goes outside the bird bath, hence the bird bath would need frequent topping up of water. I then placed within a deep glass bowl but it emptied that of water within 30 seconds! So will have to rethink how I use this pump as it defeats the purpose of having a bird bath with no water in it. The other option is to place in a terracotta plant pot where more water can be held. It would also work very nicely in a pond as the water would just stay in the pond. In my any event it works as described albeit a little too well! but it is an excellent piece of kit at an affordable price.

Nice Little Garden Feature
Ours was priced £8 and I think that that is about right for what you get. I would advise not paying anymore than £10 for this size (around 6 inch diameter) as I have seen this advertised for £15 plus P&P!! Be aware, that it has to be in direct sunlight for a continuous fountain stream, the slightest bit of shade on any part of it will affect how well it runs. A little tip too, sometimes it will stop working, even in strong sunlight, and if the filter isn't blocked, then this could be an air bubble, so just removing the nozzel and replacing it seems to remedy this problem. You might need something to help remove the filter cover when cleaning, as it's tight, unless you have a strong long thumbnail. Cleaning the filter is really easy. Ours needs cleaning regularly as it's in our fish pond, and our fish seem to love to hide under it, so it is fish friendly.

Easy to install, sweet little fountain
This is the second one of these I have bought - it's predecessor 'died' after two years and some rough treatment for the bird life in my garden. So easy to install - basically put it on the water and off it goes, no fiddling about, no wires to plug in - just make sure the solar panel is somewhere that can catch some rays. It sits in a small pond and although it is solar it still works in duller days. It's a modest fountain - don't anticipate Versailles - but it trickles and tinkles away happily like a low key soundscape which is very calming.

Stopped working after 2 months
Initially was pleased but it stopped working after 2 months; the top has gone white. The fountain also was too high when in full sun as it sprayed out the sides of the bowl when a slight breeze.

Not great
Not great tbh, it's ok when it works but it only works in direct sunlight, as soon as a shadow covers it, it stops.

Needs plenty of sun!
I kept seeing these pumps and have always wanted a water feature in the garden. This one is a good price to start with and a reasonable size. Really easy to put together and comes with different nozzles which means you can choose the type of fountain. I’ve placed mine in the bird bath and it looks really nice. Gives that water feature without all the hassle of electrics etc. it needs to be sunny to work though. It goes off quite quickly when the sun goes in.

Purchased on a whim a year or two ago. Great buy. Birds love it. I see them splashing and drinking from it daily. I only keep it out in the summer. First year I had it placed in an old shallow baking dish. Upgraded to a proper bird bath laster year. Spray power is strong when it's sunny. Non existent when it's cloudy. My shadow standing over it also makes it stop working. In a smaller water dish any of the attachments are too strong and spray so high that the water eventually spills over the edges or is blown out by the wind. The suction feet are also not great so it tends to float around but I dont mind that. I use it most with the bubbler attachment. The higher spray attachments can be used in a bigger dish or pond. Easy to clean. I fill a bowl with white vinegar and water, put in the fountain and take it outside and let it run with this mixture. This cleans any hard water built up, pollen etc.
