Replacement Precision Springs Pruners, Trimming Scissors Part for Heavy Duty Bypass, Pack Contains Two Pcs, Shears Spare

They were exactly the springs I needed to replace my broken ones on my pruners.

Perfect fit on Red Handled 8 inch Hi-Point Brand Pruner. Snapped right in & works perfectly.

Works. Not sure what seller means by "tapered at the ends" but...not what I thought "tapered" means. These springs are uniform diameter end to end. Diameter of spring I replaced was larger at one end than the other. Smaller diameter end fits over a "pin" and into a well. Larger diameter end fits into a well only. So after a couple of failed attempts to seat the spring onto the pin and into it's well, I had to squeeze the pin end of the spring into a smaller diameter with a pair of pliers. And that worked. Now the spring I replaced was made that way. Smaller diameter on the pin end. That's "tapered" to me.

They are only 1 3/4 not 2 inches. Had to stretch the springs .

Look sturdy, haven’t used yet. I purchased these to use on pruners I had to set aside cause the spring had popped out. Was nice to find these.

The spring did not fit my Corona BP3130 well. It allows for some workability for it like maybe 75% but if you "open" the shear too wide, the spring will detach a bit. The material is pretty good/durable if it fits your pruner shears though.
