Auto Air Colors Candy2o Warm Set

As another reviewer stated, this is an easy Candy to work with and your final wet coat levels extremely well. The warm set provides awesome colors which I use on scale model cars without having to wait hours before taping or handling when I do the extra detailing. With a little experimenting, you can get some great effects when creating Ghost Flames or graphics. The red model car in the pic was done with Auto air aluminum (fine) with the flames added in A.A. 4333 Gold. I then used the Candy Blood red over the top with 3 coats for full coverage. I was completely happy with the results and I am by no means a competent painter, just a guy who like to build model cars. Give these Candies a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Love this set. The only thing that would make it better is if it included 4oz of the 4040 bleed checker instead of a second 4oz bottle of the 4030 intercoat clear. This set gave me great results with my attempt at painting true fire, but I had to use some HOK intercoat clear to stop the candy colors from bleeding into the top layers...

The Candy colors were fine, being a dye they aren't freeze sensitive. The 4030 Intercoat is a different story. It at one time must have been frozen of just very old stock. As you can see from the pictures it is not suppose to be that color, it should be nearly clear. I gave it it 2 starts only because someone should be checking stock and not shipping old or "damaged" product. BTW, this was shipped to me in late August, no chance of freezing in the mail.

This product is unbelievable, easiest candy to lay down. It looks so good, and the coverage three coats gives full saturation.

Not a bad set, the only problem was that the paint was not fresh, a few bottles have already hardened.
