This pricey chair mat for short pile carpet turned out to be a flop. The mat material was too thin and too soft for a carpeted floor, so I wound up being constantly stuck in the indentations from the weight of my body and the chair. My advice: don't waste your money. Buy the real deal that has the right thickness and rigidity for a carpeted floor.

It's a chair mat, nothing special. As usual, these things are an absolute pain to get flat. I think on my next one, I'll put it out in the hot sun, maybe that will make it more pliable. I purchased through warehouse deals on the cheap, so if you are considering paying a lot, don't - it's that same as other one.
