Q: Is the orange a solid color or is it more see through? I am buying for a Leukemia Benefit and need a solid color?

I bought the red and it is really thin and translucent. Not totally sheer but definitely nowhere near opaque.

Q: What is the silver color like? I'm am looking for a nice gray color but the picture almost looks brown. Is it thick enough to cover well?

I bought the forest green, and it was indeed forest green. So I can't say anything about silver. It was thick enough to hold together. It was exactly what I needed. It wasn't thick, but it wasn't annoyingly thin either. Just right.

No, it is not thick enough. It is best to use landscaping plastic.

Use them as small drop cloths

I use this role of plastic because it was the most economical way of getting a small drop cloth for my painting. It is thick enough not to get all tangled up from static electricity and tear easily, as were some rolls of plastic I reviewed. It has already paid for itself as far as I am concerned, and I will buy again in the future.
