Q: How do you clean? Can it be cleaned in a dishwasher?

I wouldn’t recommend it as the high temperature and detergent might destroy the parts of the press. I would clean it by hand with a small brush.

Q: What's the screw for? Mines loose.

I’m not exactly sure why screw your talking about, but the part I’m thinking of it’s used to attach the “shapes” of the cookies, the other part would be were the design is screwed into. It’s been a while since I’ve used mine but it worked great.
