Ineffective
If I were to cut this in half and leave half on the drivers side of the vehicle, you would not see much if any difference between that and the passenger side windshield. It may not be visible in the picture, but the windshield is horribly covered with bug splatter. This shield may help with rock dings directly under it, but that's about all it does. I have a similar vehicle with a different bug shield, and it clearly is different.

Cheap
How many of these do I have to buy? Each one breaks. I'm looking for my third one now.

Easy to Install. Fits Right. Looks Good.
After my GM installed deflector finally cracked while pushing snow out of it, I began the search for a new one. The original lasted about 18 years, so that's pretty darn good. I found the AVS Bugflector at Amazon and read the reviews. It looked pretty good and was less costly than a branded GM replacement, so I gave it a try. It was easy to install. No holes to drill. They were already in the shade and lined up properly on the underside of the hood. It's been doing great. I'd say that I hope it lasts 18 years also, but frankly, I don't want to find out. I would be in my '90s and most likely not driving! Based on the performance of the product thus far, I would recommend it.

Fit my 2003 Yukon, looks great
Took about 5 minutes to install, looks great and I haven't noticed an increase in wind noise while driving at high speeds like others have mentioned.

Bad fit.
I have used a lot of Vent Shade products. This one had fitment issues. Had to heat it attach, added screws. It deformed where it was heated. No way it was going on as it came. Should have returned it.

Unbelievably noisy at speed
The product looks great and installation was very easy. Directions are very clear. That’s how it earns 2 stars. Overall though, this purchase was a real disappointment. Unfortunately, the noise this thing generates at speeds over 55-60 mph is simply intolerable. I thought something was wrong with the seal around my windshield! It sounded almost like speakers crackling but I confirmed those issues not to be the case. Immediately prior to posting this review, I got back from test driving it on the interstate at over 70mph after uninstalling the product and confirmed there is nothing wrong with my vehicle. It was just as silent as it was before. Evidently, the turbulence this causes in the stream of air flowing over a Yukon/Yukon XL is enough to cause excessive and annoying noise at speed. Honestly, I’m shocked they’d sell this product with this issue. They had to have tested it but I can’t imagine letting this product go to market with this problem. Would not recommend. Very disappointed in my purchase.

Perfect Replacement for 2005 Yukon XL SLT 2500
The GM deflector shield that came with my truck finally bit the dust this year - cracked for reasons unknown, but I wanted to replace it. New GM shields are no longer available for this model and year, so I began looking for an aftermarket shield that would fit my truck. I found this on Amazon, and I couldn't be happier. I ordered it on 3/1, and it was delivered less than 2 days later ON A SUNDAY (3/3)! I held it up to the truck, and it looked as if it would line-up exactly where the original had been. The weather finally broke, and I was able to wash and wax the truck without creating an iceskating rink in front of the garage. When I went to install the new shield, I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only was this a perfect fit, but the holes lined-up exactly and I was even able to use the original hood inserts. It took about 5 minutes to actually install the shield, but much longer to wash the salt and dirt off the truck and give it a fresh coat of wax. The Bugflector Shield is a quality item, made in the USA by a reputable firm. The price was right, and Amazon's delivery time exceeded my expectations. Buying online doesn't get better than this.

Great Value, Good Deflector, Consider adding epoxy yourself
-Installed on 2003 Yukon SLT- I saw this deflector and figured it was a really good price. I didnt expect to find one priced so low so I was a little sceptical. Received it and it came with 4 screws, 4 grommets, and 4 what I would call washers. The grommets are plastic and are used to fill the holes under your hood this is what the screws mount to, but they are plastic! The instructions called for filling the 4 square holes with the 4 square grommets that had holes for the screws to tighten to- that didn't exactly sit well with me so I have this deflector 4 stars out of 5. You might want to consider using epoxy! And putting some epoxy on your screws so they fasten to the grommets really good! So you take a screw , put a washer on it then insert it through the deflector and screw it into the grommets that are in your hood ( that you did on step one) that is how it is fastened to your hood. My concern is over time the screws could come loose. But they will not fall off when your hood is closed no matter what. The deflector was great quality. Very impressed. Hardware included will do the job. But consider using some rubber cement/ epoxy or something to secure the screws to the plastic grommet inserts.. just some advice.
