Universal Tri-Fuel Conversion Kit (Propane, Natural Gas, Gasoline) for Generators

Generator ran well, but a 6500 watt generator drained a 25# tank of gas in less than an hour. Motor Snorkel Customer Service was useless.

The kit has everything you need! About 2 hours to install. Running and tuning instructions worked great!! The Yamaha 2400 started up on 2nd pull.

Great product installs in less than an hour and works perfect on my Yamaha E2000is. The only reason it's not 5 stars is in the listing it says you will be contacted to confirm generator model. No one ever contacted me and the wrong kit arrived. I contacted Us Carburation and they shipped out a replacement to me but still delayed my install I needed by about 3 days. Other than that the product works as advertised.

After reading reviews I had some reservations but I bought the motor snorkel anyway, mostly because I didn't want to hack up my generator, which all the other conversion kits required. Even after the package arrived I didn't have enough confidence in the product, so I put it on a shelf for two years. I finally installed it, and I am completely surprised. The installation was fast easy--just remove a gasket and put in the motor snorkel gasket, taking maybe 45 minutes. Then I went to start it and it fired right up. Maybe some luck had to do with it, but I only had to make a minor adjustment to the stop lock. I put a heavy load on the genny and it handled perfectly. That was natural gas. I didn't test it for LPG.FYI, my generator is a Westinghouse Wgen 9500. And here are a couple things I did that might have contributed to this success:1) Replaced old ball valve in the gas line with FULL BORE valve. If you compare the id of these two types of valves you'll see how important this is.2) I checked the pipe width requirements to make sure I could get enough natural gas to the genny. Because of this I had to pay for 3/4" gas hose instead of 1/2" but I think it was worth it.That's about it. I don't normally submit reviews, but this time I did because maybe there are some skeptics out there like me.

With the Motor Snorkel kit, 175,000 BTU regulator, and appropriate hose and fittings, the generator operated at its rated RPM, with near maximum load, within 15 minutes of completing the installation. The only bit of advice I have, "read and follow the instructions". You will like the results.
