Lustro Italiano Ultra Premium Stone Sealer, 8-1/2-Ounce by Lustro Italiano

I like it because it does seal whatever you put it on. I used it on some ruined Corian sink and on a Marble cutting board. It sealed the pores and gave it a satin finish. Nothing shiny, but soo much better and it now prevents those horrible stains I was fighting every time some water got on those porous surfaces. I am very pleased! I did not use the etch remover, the chemical composition of the etch remover scared me and I sent it back. Just using this product worked just fine for me.

Seemed to do the trick (after using etch remover), but is has very strong fumes that lasted over a day. Use in a well-ventilated area.

I sealed my bathroom marble countertop after sanding and buffing with the etch remover. I applied the sealer with a foam brush and waited 5 minutes, making sure the surface was kept wet with sealer. When I went to remove it after 5 mins, the sealer dried quickly as I was wiping it and left streaks. I used an electric buffer with a microfiber pad to remove them and then went over the surface with the sealer again making sure to remove it right after I applied it. This softened any remaining streaks and allowed me to remove them easier.In the future, I will skip the buffing and just reapply the sealer and remove it right after. Overall, it works pretty well so far. Only time will tell!

After applying the sealer with a brush following the etch removal step with the same product, the sealer has left streaks on my marble table. It is very disappointing.

I chose this product because it was a recommended by a home improvement sight that I trust. It also comes in a small quantity and my job was just a small one. It applied easily and dried as described. It is protecting my marble well but it is too soon to make a prediction about it's longevity. It had a quite strong odor when applied and needs to be used in a well-ventilated area. Once dry there is no lingering odor. I recommend this product.
