Great Design, Poor Build
Edit: in desperation, because I like the design, I tightened the mount after applying permanent plastic bonding adhesive. No good. The mount still loosened after being used twice. This is truly a horrible mount.Original review: it looks better than its previous iteration, and it certainly positions better, but I find myself constantly tightening the mount at the screw-joint thingy. If I move it at all, it starts to loosen. (The previous model would stay tight for months, though it didn't possess the range of viewing angles this model has.) Constant tightening, worry about touching the mount at all means a big thumbs down. I'm glad I kept my now five-year-old mount.

I returned thisI love the construction and the phone grasping mechanism but due to interference of the parts it wont angle properly toward the driver.

Not recommended for large phones or on rough roads
When I first purchased this mount, it was great. However I've since upgraded to a larger and heavier phone, and I daily drive over potholes and rough roads, and the mount has trouble staying in place. The rubber has even worn off the mounting plates.

Hands down best phone/tablet holder I've ever used or seen.
I use it in all 6 of my vehicles. It's sturdy, secure and easy to move from vehicle to vehicle. Doesn't fall off or leave nasty circles on your window like suction units do. Hands down best phone/tablet holder I've ever used or seen.

Easy and convenient
easy to install and steady on Michigan roads! easy one hand hold and release and the tablet size grip is great for those long trips. Combine with bluetooth FM transmitter and you can turn any car into a radio to listen to your stored music.
