Works good
Well it works well for a drop holster. But not great for hunting purposes. If you need a tactical holster this is it.

Great Tactical Holster
This holster fits and functions flawlessly, it is well worth the price. The holster body itself is very sturdy and holds the firearm securely with one or both lock functions engaged, yet releases the firearm instantly when drawn properly (Hitting both the thumb break and index finger releases). It is easy to re-holster the firearm as well, but does take practice (as does ANY holster). The leg straps are wide enough to be comfortable but thin enough to not be overly bulky, the material has enough stretch to hold the holster securely in place during running, jumping, climbing, etc. The straps that secure the holster to your belt have plenty of adjustment for anyone, and are easy to use. The belt mounts themselves are a triple security Velcro attachment, almost identical to issued USGI leg platforms, that is very secure and easy to use. The rotating clips allow you to remove the holster while retaining your belt, and aid in freedom of movement. The leg platform (that the straps and holster mount to) is well designed with enough flex to be comfortable and enough rigidity to securely hold the system together. For me this holster carries very comfortably and isn't too bulky when compared with other thigh holsters. This holster is a 10 out of 10 for me. I bought the size to fit a Glock 19. I would (And have) recommend it to friends, and don't hesitate to trust my life to it. There are people who don't like Serpa holsters because "You can shoot yourself" My response is: If you properly draw from this holster, you cannot shoot yourself. If you improperly draw from ANY holster, you CAN shoot yourself. Its not the holsters fault. Another common complaint is "If you insert your firearm backwards (as is commonly taught for one handed reloads) it can become stuck and require tools to remove it". This is impossible in the LEVEL 3 holster because the firearm cannot be inserted backwards due to the thumb break, I cannot comment about the level one or two holsters regarding this.Bottom line: Buy it, and practice drawing properly.

Beware! Does not fit every Sig Sauer!
Bought from Amazon, size 8 left handed, for my used Sig SP2022 in 9mm with the full length accessory rail. Upon inspection and function test, I found this holster to fit securely on my leg. However, once I started function testing, a few things stood out to me.- The quick disconnect buckles used to connect the holster to your belt were malformed or something. Out of the box they refused to snap into place and required a little bit of bending in order to get them to work. I switched them up to see if it changed anything with still the same result. I am afraid that if I have to keep bending them in order to get them to work, they will eventually break.- The handgun fit is tight, and I mean TIGHT. I have seen videos where others would just drop the handgun into the holster and it would snap into place with an audible click with little effort. On this particular holster I had to drive the handgun HARD into the holster to get the "auto-lock" to engage and hear the click. During the tests I was pushing so hard that my pants were starting to fall off. Even with the retention screw backed all the way out the amount of resistance was ridiculous.- In turn, this tight fit also required me to drive my hand down onto the handgun in order to get the "auto-lock" loose enough to disengage. If I were to simply press the release lever to disengage the lock, I would have had to use more force than was safe/necessary for releasing/drawing the handgun. It was so much force that the lever would actually bend quite a bit before it would disengage.- I have a replica Sig Sauer P226 X-Five bb gun that fits better in this holster, which is weird as this holster wasn't even made for it. It was easy to drop in w/audible click, and no trouble disengaging the lock.I came upon this Blackhawk! because I was looking for a cheap retention holster and found this to be half the price of other comparable drop leg holsters sold here on Amazon. After a little research I found that Blackhawk! states in their holster fitment chart for 2015 that their holsters fit most Sig handguns, not all, MOST. They don't even tell you which ones will fit, just that some of them do. That being said, it's a real shame as I cannot recommend this holster for the Sig SP2022, at least from an online retailer. So unless you can physically handle one to inspect for fitment to your handgun, Sigs in particular, stay away or risk disappointment and money wasted.

Good holster
All in all, this is an excellent piece of equipment. The locking mechanism, keeping your Glock in the holster works brilliantly and gives you a very good, secure feel about it. The pistol is well-protected within the holster and easily accessible. All materials are robust and dependable, the lashes that keep the holster on the side of your leg even have soft rubber applied in order for them to stay in exactly the right position. That's the way it has to be.However make sure you wear good belts in order to keep this thing in position. It has some weight, and if not attached properly, may cause discomfort by sliding around. Other than that it's nice and comfortable - the leg belts are flexible. The only con are the rings that are lashed onto your belt for vertical hold. The little plastic bars that hold the clip chips are flimsy in comparison, and the clip holes actually don't fit the clip chips to well. One of them just wouldn't lock and kept sliding off all the time. I had to widen the ring slightly with a knife. Now if works just fine.If that's okay with you, you get a really good holster, especially if you buy if at a discounted price (US$ 80,-), as I did.

Real Blackhawk just not level 3
As always great product from Blackhawk!Item lists a level 3. Item I received was just a regular Serpa not a lever 2 or level 3. This is bot a big deal as this is just for hobby use and was a great price. But at the same time a bit disappointing!
