how many teaspoons of black tea does this hold?

I just tested...filled with room for the base using sea salt (medium granules) - approx 1.5 Tbsp. I've used it with high quality loose leaf tea to brew a medium size pot of tea.

Interested in design with little leaf peeking out, but see complaints about wire being much longer than pictured. Can it be coiled inside?

Doesn't really coil, it's a very fine wire. It's attached to base.

Can i use this with the tea forte sontu glass teapot?

I don't have that particular teapot however, it is the same shape and size as the tea bags tea forte makes and the tea pot is shown with in pics. I bought it for their tea over ice set and it works perfectly. I expect that it would work perfectly for the snout as well.

What are the dimensions of the strainer portion?

Small, an inch square on the bottom and it's 2.5" tall maybe....makes a large cup but not two...it's pretty awesome!
