Nice product
This machine leaves small spaces that I didn't like otherwise everything is okay

Worked for a bit but then broke, not an original Sentro
Found out it wasn’t original when the handle fell off. Was looking for replacement handles and they looked nothing like the handle on the machine. Do not recommend. Get an original Sentro instead.

I waited a while to review it as I wanted to make sure it lasts and to get used to using it. I has some edges on the teeth when I first got it that would catch the yarn sometimes but they were easily removed with rubbing paper or a small file; after that it has been very reliable. 4mm and below it's great and very rarely drops a stitch. When doing panels rather than circular, you can't really use more than 44 stitches or it lifts the opposite end and makes a mess but I was able to make a loose jumper from four panels with a 110cm chest. With practice I was able to tapper in both out and in or remount pieces to join them. Taplpering out is much easier. Circular knitting is definitely what it is best at and a hat or scarft are a twenty minute job (I put a 100g ball into the one pictured in that time). The only downside to it was exactly what other have said, the counter is useless. Don't even try to use it. I count every ten rows and just mark it on a board. It would probably be worth mounting this on a table with screws as the suction feet are "okay" but not ideal. I'll be getting another when it dies, as it has already paid for itself this winter.

This is a great little machine for the price - easy to operate and to knit with in quick time. I received it at 13:00 hrs and by 15:00 hrs I had made an headband in double layer. Found a lot of free patterns on line also. The only slight negative is the suction cup feet which don't want to stick to anything, however, just a hand on the machine keeps it steady enough to work, and I will find better suction feet and replace the ones that it came with. The added wool was nice also, although it's thick for this machine. The Sentro 48 works best with fine or sport (DK) weight wool. Recommend as a fun and easy crafting tool
