CHRISTOW Beach Umbrella Portable Tilting Parasol Sun Shade with UV Protection and Bag 2m

I can't believe the quality of this brolly for the price - it's absolutely superb. For just over £20 this is a must-have if you're in need of some shade in the garden or on the beach. The umbrella itself is huge, with a head that can be angled to shield you from the sun regardless of where it is in the sky. The pole if sturdy plastic and easy to adjust. Honestly - if you're dubious of this because it's so cheap, don't be! I felt the same, but was on a budget so it was one of my only options....but I'm absolutely over the moon with it. Still can't get over the price! BUY IT!

Why did you choose this product over others?: Needed a umbrella for the beach and this wasnt too expensive. Easy to put up and nice and compact in it's bag. Stayed standing on a windy beach. Only thing I would prefer is if it was a bit taller you wouldn't be able to sit under it in a chair.

Very nice, the same length as smaller ones when folded, and bigger when unfolded. The only thing - get a plastic tip for the stem or the stem tube may break at the ground level. Always use a rope attached to the side of the umbrella to secure it in the wind. An option is to use its holder instead of such a rope. In general, it is of a solid quality, not those cheap ones at a beach store.

We have a patio set with a 27mm hole in the centre of the table for the sun shade. Had been looking for a decent quality blue patio sun shade that fits the hole for ages. Gave up and had to choose a beach parasol as an alternative. Saw the review for this one and decided to take a chance. Honestly, given the price I paid, I wasn't overly optimistic. However I am quite pleased with it. The quality of the finish is very good for the price. It goes up smoothly and tilts and all the fixings seem secure. Been up for the last 2 days in a gentle breeze with no issues. The vents are clearly doing a good job. I've upgraded it by sewing a fringe on and it looks great. Comes with a handy storage bag too. Would have preferred the pole to be a little longer but it's adequate. Previous reviews mention thin fabric but I would say it's fine. You aren't going to get better than this for the price. It does keep the sun off.

Why did you choose this product over others?: It was cheap! You get what you pay for I guess. One corner of edge binding not attached to main body. But otherwise it works. The tilt mechanism feels a bit flimsy but it works. Width of parasol is the right size for my balcony. I wouldn't trust it not to collapse in a strong breeze but then I probably shouldn't leave any parasol up in these conditions. That's why I'm having to replace my previous more expensive model😁
