The Sten Machine Carbine

Very good little book. It was a get to know your weapon manual for the home guard. I think it was issued in the late 1942 or early 43. A very basic intro and how to use the STEN gun. If you like the STEN, this is a must have book and for the price you can't beat it is. But remember this book is only about the size of your hand and only 28 pages, but it is full of very good and useful information.

Although this is a thin volume, it's got a lot of information. It is clearly a reprint of an older, official British document, and having primary source material such as this is very helpful when I'm doing my WW2 research. If you're interested in WW2 weapons history, this is worth picking up.

My son-in-law loved it, very good and informative book.

I purchased this booklet for the maintenance and lubrication information clearly stated on the cover....unfortunately, there was no mention of either in the book.

A very thorough reproduction of the original instruction manual to the Sten, which is one of the most important developments in British military small arms of the 20th. century. A quick and easy read for anyone with an interest in firearms, shooting or history.

This pamphlet is a re-print of the wartime training manual for this splendid little gun. Excellent value for money and fascinating.
