Q: Will a 3.7 HP be Enough to run this pump.?

Note: Most 5hp compressors are 3hp or less. Many are half their stated HP. Similar to Briggs over rated HP claims until being sued & used a CC rated sticker instead of HP ever since. Aka- Buyer beware Corps lie! First clue, if your 5hp motor operates with 110 power source its not a true 5hp setup. A true 5hp motor must run on a 220 power source. So verify your advertised hp vs your true hp rating before buying a new pump or motor.

no pressure switch port would be on the tank so when pressure is reached in tank, pressure switch with stop motor.
