H1 offers the latest saddle top from Selle Anatomica in an affordable design. H Series saddles utilize a stiffer top than X Series. They were designed for cyclists who might have otherwise prematurely stretched X Series saddles. They're also built for cyclists who prefer a stiffer riding platform such as those coming from many years on a Brooks. H1 is suspended over a 4130 chromoly rail system that has been hardened to take a higher level of abuse. The rumors you heard about bending rails don't apply here. We've tested these rails beyond the ISO 9001 standard for bicycle saddles and real world tested them as well. They don't bend. Period. Having said all that, this saddle still has no break in period. It feels good from day one. H Series is the saddle for all cyclists above 180 pounds. We recommend H Series for all long distance riders, up to a maximum of 250 pounds.

Ouch
Awful saddle. Sure it looks awesome and is beautifully crafted. That being said, I didn’t make it down the block before I felt like the saddle was cutting my junk In half. I don’t get the great reviews this saddle is getting. Awesome it’s made in the 🇺🇸 USA but I actually like to ride my bike and not just look at it. Coming from a year round daily rider who could care less about bothering to track mileage, this saddle is a literal PIA

Idk so far it's not working for me. I must be doing something wrong
So I purchased this seat because of all the good reviews, especially the reviews saying it was comfortable on the first day. I wish I could say the same. I used it a few times. I've never adjusted a seat as much as I have with this one. I just wanted it to work so bad. I've only used it about 4 times and 2-3 hours a ride. Im thinking about trying to return it TBH....

Second Selle saddle, and I'm still happy.
This is my second Sella Anatomica saddle , and quite honestly for me they are the most comfortable saddle I've ridden. My first Selle saddle was one I got from a friend who tried it, and had ordered the wrong saddle for his weight range, so his loss my gain. No real break in Required, I've got 100 miles on this saddle and it's just as comfortable as the one ive been riding for 2 years.

fantastic sandle
I've been riding primarily brooks saddles for years. I wanted to try something a little lighter and american made. I've been very impressed with the H1. It was immediately comfortable and rides great for hours at a time with or without padded shorts.

SelleAnatomically leather seat
It's okay, hammock design, quality made seat. Read the maintenance instructions. Since it's leather the manufacturer requires a certain treatment & not other leather conditioners.

Super Comfy
Bought this to break in for a 630 mile ultra “race” (I just want to finish) in September. Once adjusted, and saddle sauce added it’s probably the most comfortable, if not the heaviest seat I’ve owned. But the weight is so negligible and honestly a moot point because this saddle is so comfy.

Surprised by how comfortable the saddle felt.
I received the Selle Anatomica saddle a few days ago,and was able to easily install it for a test ride on the trails. I immediately recognized how sturdy, and well constructed the saddle was. It seem to be durable, but riding time is needed to know for sure. However, it only took one ride to experience how truly comfortable the saddle feels!

Surprisingly comfortable saddle
Amazingly comfortable out of the box. Only knocking off one star because the adjustment doesn’t seem to hold. Added more blue lock tight to the adjustment thread and it seems to retain position.
