Silk Eye Patches for Glasses to Treat Lazy Eye/Amblyopia/Strabismus ONE Patch,Small,Black

Due to a sudden vision loss, I needed something to occlude that dark image from crossing over to the good vision in the other eye. A patch with elastic tends to put pressure on the eye which was uncomfortable. I am a small adult so chose the small size. It slides on easily over the bow and covers the glasses lens. It is very comfortable and accomplishes the needed task. It is important to read the measurements and your classes to fit it properly so it doesn't move.

For me, this product works well to control a sudden bout of strabismus (double vision). Much better than a strap-on eyepatch. I received a "small" one that just fits my glasses. I notice that other reviewers purchased a "large" one, but I don't see large offered for sale. I would order it if I could. I'll look again...

I am not comfortable the fabric touched my eye.

Not easy to use not when I finally get it on, it is not effective. I would not recommend this product to potential users.

In theory, this seemed the perfect product. But in practice, there are some issues. My eyelashes rubbed against the patch since it didn't rest against my eye. I didn't think it would be a problem when I bought the product, but it ended up also rubbing against my eye and ended up making my eye sore. Also, the patch slid around on my eyeglass frame, which let in light and and a sliver of vision on the eye I needed to cover. If it just had really tiny snaps on the edge that runs along the nosepiece, most, if not all, of the movement would have been eliminated.I had to wear the patch for two weeks. It didn't kill me, but it wasn't exactly a piece of cake, either. It was a bit of a pain to wear, but I needed it to work so I survived the constant readjustment of the patch and the eye soreness.

My husband has sixth nerve palsy and we have not been able to find an eye patch that works. He will need to wear it for months so the sticky kind were a problem. The hard eye patches are curved to keep from touching the eye but it is impossible to wear glasses with those patches. This silk patch is perfect!! It fits over his glasses so he can still see easily out of his other eye and it stays in place! Love this product!!

Fits nicely over my glasses, not scratchy but over time the fibers shed and gets in my eye which is extremely irritating.

I purchased this eye patch for glasses because I had surgery on my left eye due to a detached retina. My right eye is for distance, so in order to be able to continue to work, I have to wear reading glasses. This patch works great, and I like the fact it is away from my eye enough to allow it to breathe, but it is also dark enough to keep the strain to a minimum.
