Dark.. depraved.. twisted.. perfect!
Oh my actual god.... this book was just as truly amazing as book 1 in this series.Continuing on with mob bosses Liam and Melody and their love/hate relationship.. and their families it starts off straight where book 1 finished.Told by POV of many of the main characters this story has so many twists turns and OMFG moments thrown in you just can't help but be left hanging on the edge of your seat while page turning as fast as you can to see whats happening next!!!Absolutely LOVE this family and the dynamics between Liam and Mel.... they make me have true family goals hahaI honestly dont want to give any of the story line away as everyone deserves to get the full effect from reading it but i can say roll on to reafing book 3 to see just what is next for the dark and deadly Callahan family!Amazing writing yet again by JJ McAvoy!

Honest review, great book!
There is definitely a Love Hate relationship with the main characters. Most of the time I despise them and then you have a couple of times where you warm up to them and smile at their silly or intimate moments. I enjoyed the first book and this book had some really good twists (really good!). It was better than I expected and actually more emotional as well. I liked the multiple POVs and I never once got bored as there was always something happening. I read the book very quickly as I couldn't put it down.Although I love the book I gave it 4 stars for some small mistakes and also some parts at the end which seemed a little bit unrealistic (i.e Knowing Liam's character it doesn't make sense that Mel was left unattended at the hospital with no guards or anything).I'm going to pre order the third book as I want to know what happens and how it all plays out.

Good Read.
Having loved Ruthless People, I was really excited to read The Untouchables. It was really good. I think it was definitely darker than the first book in the series, especially since we were getting the view points of so many different characters, rather than just Mel & Liam. Olivia became even more infuriating if you can believe it. Her presence was annoying, but necessary, I guess. I liked how we got to see a bit more of Mel's background, that was really interesting. The twist near the end was kind of horrifying, but I've come to expect horrifying twists from Miss. McAvoy. I like how Mel & Liam further developed their relationship. There was definitely a lot of character development across the board. Even characters like Fedel & Monte got their own chapters and this really helped to gain a better understanding of what makes them tick? Why they are so loyal to Mel? etc.The only kind of negative thing I can say about this book is that it ended with an outrageous cliffhanger, which left me even thirstier for American Savages than I was for The Untoucables. So is that really even a negative? I think it lived up to the first novel in the sense that it was really good. It definitely wasn't as good as Ruthless People, but it was really enjoyable.

This book just like the first is an amazing read, there are twists and turns and there is always something happening, multiple POV`s make this book stand out as well as having a not to be messed with main couple.

5 star series
Well J J McAvoy has done it again! The second instalment of the Callahan Family! What a book!!! This is going straight in the favourites! One Secret. Multiple Casualties.Everything Melody Callahan has ever been told about her past is a lie. Her father lied. Her husband lied. But like all secrets…they come out. Not only is her mother, Aviela, alive but she won’t stop until she tears down everything Liam and Melody have spent the past year building. With a new target on their back and the media now focused on their family as the Presidential election approaches, Liam and Melody must fight on two battlefronts. Melody is torn between being in love with Liam and wanting to kill him for lying to her. Being in love and showing love are two different things in her world. Liam wants to do anything to protect his family even if that means hurting the people he loves.Family is everything… but what happens when they’re out for your blood? Everything they have been through is nothing compared to what is coming...Liam and Melody are back and more in love that ever also more ruthless and evil than ever! I loved every minute of it! There is a lot that goes on in this book and I was pleased that it was quite lengthy, I remember thinking "this is great but I bet I'm near the the end :( " then checked and was only at 60% score!! Obviously I don't want to spoil anything so won't go into anything that happened... I will only say you HAVE to read this!!!!So thanks again for an awesome book JJ and I will be waiting not very patiently until March!
