I bought this Spirulina powder to color items for an upcoming birthday party. I wanted a natural alternative to artificial dyes but with blue color. I put 1/4 top in a glass of milk and blended it up to see if it would color it sufficiently and whether it would taste odd. To my surprise, the small amount changed the color of the milk significantly blue. Obviously it is pastel because it started out white, but there was strong enough color that I think it will be perfect for what I plan to use it for. There's no smell, and in my opinion no taste! I was shocked! I expected an earthy taste. I did have to use a small milk frother to blend the powder fully as it floated and clumped in some spots at the top. It is a small bag, but a very little amount went a long way so this should last you a while. I did not buy this for the health benefits (except the healthy absence of artificial dyes), but I am looking forward to taking it and seeing the results.

I love this. I add it to oatmeal fruit smoothies with juice and frozen fruit. I add this for nutritional benefit. I can’t taste the powder at all and the smoothies are a beautiful blue color (which is odd to really enjoy but I still like it). I can’t feel any difference but I assume I’m still getting benefit from it. I am highly impressed with this and will order it again.

I got this to make hand paint for my baby, but wow, it’s pretty expensive for such a small bag. You don’t need that much but I’m not sure I would buy this again. It does taste better than regular spirulina imo though.

This worked awesome for a blue color! The picture of it in the contain was the night before, and the picture on the cupcakes was how vibrant it got overnight. I highly recommend for natural coloring.

We make our own health drink with this. We wish the bags were 2oz if not 4oz. It gets expensive if you're looking for cumulative effects. Flavor similar to barley.

I love that I can make beautiful, healthy smoothies and other treats to my kids by adding this blue spirulina. They love it too.

Why is it filled halfway up like it’s already such a small amount that I purchased that? It literally is not even a full 1 ounce. I’m just so confused…
