Love SiriusXM, I wish this kit had a better cable management
I love SiriusXM, specially when you travel around areas without or with poor phone signal, it's a lifesaver. Also I like to listen different things from different genres and listening radio hosts talking and not having to find new radio stations several times in a long trip is more than welcome. My previous car had SiriusXM natively and I loved the TrafficNav function (something that I really miss up to this date), however my current car don't have SiriusXM, probably because of the Apple CarPlay and I tried the longest to adapt getting used to listen SiriusXM using the APP and using other music apps, but whenever I have a roadtrip to make, I either forgot to download musics or didn't download enough musics so eventually I was left without signal for hours in the desert or mountains so without music, without radio stations scanned or listening things on loop. This kit first popped for me on the SIriusXM Newsletter and I found it an interesting solution but was pricy and backordered (only home kit available) so I resorted to amazon and was pleased that not only was cheaper, but was readly available and on the car kit format.A quick research on Youtube allowed me to learn how to install and was relatively quick and easy but without the tips on videos like using something without edges like a credit card to assist tucking the antenna cable I probably would have damaged the cable.Differently of most that installs on the front, I decided to install on the back of the car with the cable running under the car carpet and thru the trunk gate mechanism and worked great and I can open and close my trunk not worried about damaging the cable since the sealing rubber is soft not creating much pressure to the antenna cable that is really thin (to be able to be tucked away) which makes it fragile. It does work fine and the process to transferring my subscription to it was quick and easy but I had to do thru a phone call because on the app or website it wasn't allowing me to do.The navigation is simple and easy (not as was using the infotainment but is close enough and because it has a numpad if you know the channel number it saves a lot of time too). The thing that I really don't like is the nightmare the cable management is, just this device have three cables connected to it (Power, Antena and Aux) which creates a chaos specially because I have the Antenna coming from the carpet, the aux coming from the Central armrest storage and the Power coming from the center console near the gear shifter. My solution was to assign a few radios I listen the most and what I did was instead sticking the screen on the dashboard or so, I just leave it inside the central armrest so at least 2 of the cables are out of the way, with just the power cable crossing from the central console and when I travel I just leave it on the passenger seat.To avoid this, if this unit had the option to connect thru bluetooth would be amazing. Also the AUX Cable that comes with it has really poor quality so the sound is actually much lower than it should compared to regular radio or CarPlay audio level. All in all I'm glad to have a SXM unit that don't depend on internet as it should be, but I wish it was a little more polished of a product than it actually is.

It's what I expected.
I put this in my Jeep. It works as well as one that comes in a vehicle from the factory. It would be even better if it came with a shorter antenna wire.

Refurbished SiriusXM Onyx EZR radio review
The radio I purchased refurbished works fine. I have had no problems getting it activated, and even added a an older one I found at a yard sale to the account. I give the retailer in Amazon a 100% thumbs up!
