.22 Bore Mops
I shoot a lot of .22 in a variety of platforms including wheel guns, semi-autos and bolt action precision rifles. I am also a fanatic about keeping my equipment clean and it doesn't matter if it's 10 shots to adjust an optic or 200 shots ringing steel at 200yds, I clean them after each trip to the range. After running a bore snake or brass brush through the barrel, you need to remove the bulk of that fouled cleaning solution before you start with cleaning patches. I also hold one of these in 'reserve', coated in a lightweight oil to run down the bore to keep the bore and grooves ready for storage.Likes:Brass connectors with standard 8-32 thread pattern. No matter which cleaning kit I am using, these fit perfectly and really mop up cleaning solutions well.6 pieces to keep you going. No need to use an old mop that appears cleaner than any of the others, you've got plenty on hand.Cotton mops effectively clean and lubricate to keep your equipment working in top form.Dislikes:NoneThese mops are quality built, lint free, brass connectors, won't contact the bore or rifling (but use a bore guide anyway because that's just good practice) and at $12 for 6 mops, a great buy.

GOOD MOPS FOR THE MONEY
I go through a lot of Bore Mops for my .22's. You're not going to beat this price and they hold up to multiple uses.

A bit pricey

Quick and easy. Better than patches.
Really good bore brush. Smooth thread onto the rod and tight fit in the bore. Only a couple of passes with solvent and the bore is clean.

Good quality
A good quality bore mop, no doubt. But these are difficult to completely clean themselves once they get dirty. And you don't want to use a dirty bore mop to clean a barrel. That kinda makes these a one-use method for bore cleaning, which makes them a relatively expensive alternative.I'm starting to lean more towards the sponge-like alternatives (like from Swab-its), which can be easily cleaned and reused over and over. They are more expensive up front, but seem to save money long term.
