You are My Sunshine Music Box, Yunsheng Wind Up Clockwork Musical Mechanism Movement for DIY Music Boxes Replacement

I purchased this item because the miniature house kit that I recently bought did not include one. The instructions stated the music box only came in the upgraded version of the product, which can’t be found on Amazon. It includes three screws and the winding mechanism and is easy to install. There is a space for a music box in the back wall of the house, and I really liked the idea of it having one. I chose ‘You Are My Sunshine’ because I thought it went well with the flower theme of the miniature house. The price of the item was reasonable and I tested it as soon as it came in, it works great and the sound is perfect. It fits in the space provided in back wall of the house. It looks like it will hold up well over time. I recommend this product, and will buy more in the future if I encounter a similar circumstance.

I needed to repair a snow globe that leaked. This music box works great! I just needed to place 2 toothpicks between it and the bottom of the snow globe, so the knob to turn the music box didn’t touch the table.

This was a replacement for a musical snow globe that we have. It arrived on time & fit perfectly. Easy & quick to install.

Feels very durable. Heavy metal base. The sound is sufficient for a music box. Worth the price. Roughly 1.5" x 1.5". Comes with a knob and 3 screws, but appears to have more than 3 positions to place the screws.

These work great and have a nice unique song choice. My only issue is that the screws and wind up shank are sort of short for the craft store boxes available that have somewhat thicker walls so I needed to drill out a recessed area for each to fit. Otherwise, they work well for the price.

Absolutely great; my kids love Harry Potter. So this music box was perfect. My son had broken the one in his music box, so we opened the bottom of it and replaced it with this. Great quality; works well. Thank you.

As others have said, it seems quiet until it is attached to a surface which makes it much louder. Mechanism works fine, but a few things were less than desirable for mounting it in a wooden box. First: The key stem is really short, so your box wall needs to be pretty thin for it to work. Second: the mounting holes are positioned in a way that the mechanism semi-blocks them and it is harder than it should be to insert the screws. Third: I wish it came with wood screws instead of bolts so I could attach it to a wooden box. I couldn't find screws small enough for the provided holes so I had to drill them out a bit bigger.
