P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Sanuk was started by surfers in southern California in the late '90s who were looking for footwear that reflected their lighthearted way of life. Founder Jeff Kelley was disappointed to see little selection in a category of footwear that had become his main shoe staple: the flip flop. Jeff had always been interested in footwear and with a little help from a few friends Sanuk was born. Years later, the Sanuk brand still delivers out of the ordinary, quality product to surf and specialty shops every season and has helped bring the flip-flop category from a summer only item to something worn all year. Sanuks always run small
An odd design choice to have the Sanuk logo embossed on the inside of the shoe, where your heel goes. Constantly feels like there is sand in my shoes. I may use some sand paper to sand down the logo so I don't feel it.Very surprising that the sizing suggestions do not reflect the fact that Sanuks always run small. You should always order a full size up. Example: I wear a 9.5 shoe typically but need to wear size 11 Sanuks.I don't find the Chibas to be as comfortable as the Vagabond style due to the rolled heel; I fear I'll get blisters until they are broken in. But the Chibas look better than the Vagabonds, IMO.But they are Sanuks so they get 4 stars by default due to comfort and their laid-back style.

The most lightweight ones- truly like sandals, not shoes.
My husband is really picky about the shoes - he chooses only the most comfortable- and even like this- Sanuk met his expectations.

Love em, just as everyone has said!
I normally dont do these review things, however after reading some opinions I had to correct them. You know how the saying goes, "Opinions are like ________, everyone has one!I love my Sanuks as I have had 4 pairs now, all of which lasted enough to make my money worth it. Yes, as some have said, they make your feet stink, I say to them, take a shower, problem fixed. Over all, Sanuks are awesome as they are worth every penny spent. They wear out no quicker then any other competeing sandal of the same, but remember these are sandals, they are gonna wear out before your Nike's do, just use your commen sense. You wont find anything more comfy out there. To sum it up best, just buy the dang things, you'll be happy you did!

Great Buy
I bought a pair of these shoes at a retail outlet for $65.00. First I bought the size 10, but I felt like they were pretty tight. So I returned them for a size 11, and the 11 seemed to big. By then, I had already found these on-line for $54.00, so I felt like I over paid as well.So I returned the shoe to the retail store, and took a chance on ordering them from Amazon.com in a size 10, hoping that they might fit better than the size 10 I got in the store. And they did. I've had them for a week, and I'm very happy. They are just little bigger than the one they had in the store. At first they felt a little warm, but I got use to them pretty quick.PS: I also tried looking for these shoes in other stores and in other brands. The Sanuk was superior and worth the extra money. Don't waist your time if your looking for this style of shoe. Get the Sanuk.

I also bought sandals that were sanuk and those were fine. Maybe it's just the shoes
Sorry will be returning these shoes my husband normally wears a 10,I but the shoes were to small and tight. I guess we will try in a store where he can try them on. We have never had a problem I always buy his shoes haven't had to return one pair I have bought for him. I also bought sandals that were sanuk and those were fine. Maybe it's just the shoes, I'm happy with my sandals I have been buying sanuks for me the last 4 years and I love them. His experience was not as good.

Best alternative to flip flops
I can't stand wearing flip flops and before a spring break trip decided to get these. They are great. I'm a size 12 but accidentally ordered a 13 and they fit fine. I can usually wear a 13 fairly comfortably as long as I'm not doing anything athletic so I can't say for sure that going a size up is the best option. Considering that I was on a hot beach having a little more room to keep my feet cool worked out fine.Regardless of fit, they look great and were very comfortable. I probably won't wear them much outside of vacations and trips to the beach so I expect they will last a long time. The price on Amazon is way lower than what I saw them for at the mall so I consider them a steal. Also, if you need to go from the beach to just walking around town they are a lot less taxing on your feet than flip flops. If you don't typically like to wear sandles/flip flops, like me, this is the product for you.

A true casual loafer
Where I live socks are consider formal wear. These shoes fit well in my life style. Speaking of fit - I normally wear a size 13 wide shoe. The Chiba's run a tad small so a size 14 (without socks) is good fit for me. I wish Sanuk produced their other styles in larger sizes. The Chiba is about the only Sanuk that will fit me.

Great kick around shoes
Wear these things ALL THE TIME... well, I guess more honestly... all the time I don't need a real shoe. Two years on one pair, and still going strong. Can't overstate the value they've been.
