FirmanINVERTER GENERATOR 2000W PEAK/1600W RUN

Have used it for various power outages, camping, and it's amazing how easily it starts every time. Runs more quietly than I expected for a gas engine, and light enough to carry around with one hand.

Added oil and petrol, placed it outside on a cement tile to avoid dust sucked in from the bottom. It started at first pull of the cord and ran smoothly. There is an economy mode that is very low in noise allowing normal speech around the generator. This mode could also power my gas furnace (500-700W draw) with no issue. That means the generated current is indeed very 'clean' and simulates a sinusoidal wave well. If I switch eco mode off, the noise is as loud as my other Firman 1300 generator. With gas, the weight is about 24kg so it is heavy but still 'portable'. Its size is bigger than I expected. Another negative is that to check the oil level, you need to unscrew the side panel (5 screws), so not easy to do on every use as recommended.

I own a 4000 watt generator that wouldn't run my pellet stove. I learned that I needed an inverter generator to do the job. So even though the wattage is about half of my other generator it does the job wonderfully.

We bought this generator because the price seemed good and we really need one as we rely on it for power and our previous one had stopped working after many years .I have read all the instructions and put the correct amount oil inside ,when then generator finally starts after many pulls it sounds really rough and stops running no matter what the setting is after less then 30 seconds . We are very unimpressed with this purchase and will not be buying from this company again

Love it for my camper trailer or if the power goes out.Awesome love it
