My Go-To Polo
I love this shirt. I wear the black one pretty much every day with either slacks or jeans. It dresses up whatever pants you wear it with. It’s very sturdy, and hangs well on big guys. It’s not a soft weave, it’s a thicker, yet not too heavy to wear in the summer. I’ve tried the lighter colors, and I’m not as happy with them although they feel around the same - the lighter colors just don’t give me the confidence the black does, and the lighter colors aren’t as dressy in my opinion. If you’re in shape as far as a flat belly goes, the white one is very nice too. It just didn’t hang on me like the black. I bought SIX of these in black over a two year period because I love them!

Great shirt—gets lots of compliments.
Five stars, with some caviats. This shirt isn’t what I was expecting. I thought this was the lighter weight fabric—which is shown in the first photo. I specifically wanted that version as it’s nicer looking in my opinion. But apparently this is is the same model number. And after looking closer—all the other photos, but that first one, are actually the shirt I received. I would have returned it it if I had more time and didn’t need it right away. However I’m guessing this must be the newer version of my older shirts I’ve bought in the past and the photo thing was hopefully an honest slip up of the seller. As they are pretty darn similar in a tiny photo. However this fabric is less clean/neat/dressy looking. It doesn’t drape as nicely. It’s more just normal polo looking. Kinda on the thicker side. Not necessarily frumpy per se—it’s just average polo looking. But, since it is a work polo I suppose that’s reasonable for it to look like a polo. And presumeably it’ll be more durable. Its just not what I wanted. Frankly, I’m actually not a big 5.11 fan. As I think a lot of there stuff is pricy but cheaply made, and targeted to wanna be tough guys, but that’s just my opinion. However, I like these specific shirts a lot. And this version is also great. I love the shoulder pen pocket on these shirts. I get lots of compliments on it and questions about the brand and where I got it. I’ve bought these type of 5.11 shirts before and I’d buy this again. But I’ve got my eye out for the lighter weight ones if I can find ‘em.

love it...but the buttons, the buttons! aarg.
great material, doesn't shrink/stretch bad at all, tough, nice color, nice sleeve length, color, everything. This is great polo! I'm going to buy more. However, it does come large, and I'm a medium-size kind of guy - I ordered this in small and it fits like a fitted medium. But the buttons - the first button is way too low, the second one is too high, and of course the top button is fine as is there for show (never button the top button on a polo - bad style). If I have just the first button, it shows some chest. The second button is kind of dorky. I feel like I need to add a snap button between the two just to get a happy medium. I won't take a star away, though - it's probably because I ordered a size smaller or something.

Nice medium polo shirt good quality
Nice polo shirt what I expected from 5.11 the only thing I would change is adding a pocket.

Great shirts...
Love these 5.11 polos. Solid construction...very durable. They are easy to launder...I just wash them in the washer, throw them in the dryer and then pull them out while they are still warm and put them on a hanger. The wrinkles are minimal. Definitely easy care. I have been wearing this type of shirt for years and have never been disappointed. Very comfortable as well.

Great comfort and great look
Got it at a great price and plan to buy a number of others to fill out the wardrobe with some quality tac clothing. Have become a recent fan of 5.11 clothing and gear and I'm definitely hooked. While dressing to perform, you do not have to sacrifice good looks and the fit was great. Looks very good tucked in or left to hang loose for greater comfort as a casual shirt. The little pockets are handy and the color has held its shape quite well so far.

I'd buy another, but a size down
Similar to what other folks said, this shirt seems to be of good quality and manufacturing. The price is good, so I'd definitely consider getting another one. However, the size was larger than I expected. I'm about 5'11" and 180lbs, and a medium usually treats me just fine, especially as I like my shirts to be a bit form-fitting. This shirt was more baggy than I expected it to be, both in how far it hung down and the length of the sleeves. I'm willing to bet a small would treat me better.

One of the best tactical polo shirts I've seen, comfortable, durable and practical, while still looking great. One issue you might want to ponder before buying: if you're not a big fan of polyester, you might want to go for the other version which has more cotton in the mix.

I almost exclusively wear this polo to work, which is a "business casual" workplace. It is a ubiquitous polo that holds up very well over time - the collar doesn't curl or roll, the fabric highly resists wrinkles, and the overall shirt is very durable. Looks professional enough for the folks I mingle with. This model of polo is also 100% cotton so when it starts to get warm out, mixed with physical activity, you don't end up smelling like trash within an hour unlike synthetics. Nobody wants to be packed into an elevator with somebody who smells atrocious, with many fragrance-free workplaces preventing the wearing of perfume/cologne, body spray, or scented deodorants, so these are a winner in that department too. The ONLY point of failure, after 2+ years of wearing, is the that the collars start to get threadbare. I've never had a seam or stitch fail anywhere, even along the collar or hem. This doesn't even cost a star; my jeans, worn more infrequently, wear out faster than these shirts. I *highly* recommend the 41060 polo shirts. They are a good value any time though if you can find them during one of the infrequent sales then they are a smoking good deal. In short, if you want a high quality, durable, and good fitting polo, then this is your shirt.
